These are by far the best wings you will ever have!!! The hot and spicy honey bbq are absolutely delicious. The lemon pepper are amazing as well. We have been dining here multiple times a week for years. Rick and his staff are very friendly and know exactly how to make our wings just the way we like them. Try this place out - you won't regret it! read more

So I may or may not have been here twice this week (and by that I mean twice in 3 days), but I'm not embarrassed AT ALL. This place has the best wings I've ever had. Seriously. The sauce is that super vinegary authentic wing sauce - not generic hot sauce that a lot of wing places use. I haven't tried any of the flavored wings yet, but at this point, I don't know that I will. The plain hot wings are just that good. Don't let the less than stellar decor, wobbly tables, and out of place box fan deter you from trying this place! read more

Rick's Hotwings - Chicken Wings Near Me - Kennesaw, Georgia

See all

This place is great me and my husband love coming here. We moved and still drive the distance bc the food is always good and the service and great. Definitely recommend and we always be coming here! read more

One of the best wings i have had in life, great people. Always fresh chicken and cheapest price around. Encourage for chicken lovers

Changed ownership? Wings used to be large; now they are the regular sized tiny wings. The boneless wings are chicken nuggets covered in sauce Also, literally all the sides are fried, so to get a real meal you need to go to the grocery store That's ok though, because they give you plenty of time to run there... last time I went, it took 50 minutes to get my order read more

Always good. We order medium flavor wings. Fries must be eaten fresh. If it's to go, the moisture in the foam box will take awsy that crunch you love while eating fries. Season the fries as well. read more

Best wings ever! I love the lemon pepper. Other wing places can't compare. They made AJC's top 5 wings In Georgia In 200 mile road trip in 2008. Also made AJC access in 2007. I'm a regular at this place, several times a month. My son loves them too! read more

Wings are super dry or old the fries seem like they been in the fridge frozen for months no flavor at. Wings are super little. I got 6pc combo for almost 11$ read more

Best Wings in Acworth. Great selection of sauces and wings are delicious. Priced reasonably. During special events like Super Bowl make sure to order way in advance. read more

They take a little while after you order, but believe me, it's worth the wait! The teriyaki wings are my favorite in town.

Rick makes the best wings I've ever had!!! I am totally addicted. They are cooked and seasoned perfectly. I like the lemon pepper cooked crispy. You can't be in a hurry but they are worth the wait. Get them to go and you won't be disappointed. read more

IF I COULD GIVE MINUS STAR RATING.....I WOULD OLD DRY SALT BOMB.....ordered the Wings and Shrimp......wish I had just gone to KFC or anywhere else. Got the Lemon Pepper wings.....SALT BOMB....hardly tasted the lemon pepper because of all the SALT. The wings were also HARD and OLD....maybe QUADRUPLE FRIED...for yesterday's wings???....lol. For almost $12.00.....no sides.....no drink. The shrimp was something I could have gotten out of the FROZEN SECTION at the grocery store and went home and flash fried. Customer service also SUCKED!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!....NEVER AGAIN. read more

I'm normally scared to try new wing spots because they always disappoint . Gave this place a shot and was blown away. HANDS DOWN BEST WINGS IVE EVER EATEN. Super nice owner. Best.wings.ever. read more

Ordered 10 boneless wings for family of 4. Was asked blue cheese or ranch. Upon getting home I open box and there are 10 tiny bite size wings. Don't know how they tasted because I didn't get to have any. Also, there was no dipping sauce included. Lame. read more

I used to love this place but after my last experience I will not go back. I ordered lemon pepper wings and there was more lemon pepper seasoning than wing. So disappointed as the wings were inedible and wasted my money. read more

Pretty good for the price. I would come back to the establishment. Fry order was a bit confusing as they give it to you in a paper bag???

A waste of money! Wings are over cooked and taste like they been fried and then redropped fried to order. Everything had a Indian Curry smell to it. Next time I have a craving of wings I will go to Old Towne Tavern. This is pure yuck! I feel sick. read more

Rick's Hotwings has terrible customer service....I ordered via my Yelp app, 6 flats, six drums and an order of fries. I left a 20% tip. Order fulfilled through Grubhub. After waiting for an hour and a half for delivery, I looked out and the order was sitting on the steps of my entryway. I brought the freezing cold food in and the hotwing sauce had spilled all inside the bag and was a mess. I called Rick's Hotwings and was informed that the food was given to the driver quite some time ago. I explained that it was left outside, no one rang my bell or knocked on my door and that I needed the order redelivered and that the driver needed to notify me. No, no, no! Not my responsibility after I give to driver, said Rick's Hotwings. Contact Grubhub. Okay....so I first sent a text through my Grubhub app. Ann replied that she needed my order number or she couldn't help me. Hold please. I went back to the Yelp app and checked the status of my order, where I was able to obtain the phone number for Grubhub. Left chat, called Grubhub, she found my order information without a number. I held while she called the driver, he had no explanation but Grubhub believed me and issued a refund. Rick's will not replace the order. I am having cereal for dinner. I will never order from, or put my foot inside their door ever again. I was used to the guy at the counter being rude and charging for pre-made dressing. Never again! read more

This indiscreet place nestled in between Sally's and a Chinese restaurant is LEGIT. The restaurant is threadbare, but has all the essentials, clean and neat seating and a tv. My husband first ordered our wings hot and whoamygosh were they ever! Burning hot, but so delicious! The second time we came we had to order for our daughter, so we went with mild. Mild is even better IMO, because it still has a decent heat to it, but the flavor is delicious. We ordered a small order of fries to go along with it and it was small paper bag filled to the top. (what you put a 40 oz in lmao!), it was a pretty generous portion to be considered "small". There is a bottle of seasoning salt on the table so don't forget to season it yourself if you'd like. I'm definitely going to try the lemon pepper wings next time. read more

Rick's certainly isn't much to look at on the inside. The food though does make up for what the appearance lacks. The wings are large and meaty. The will cater to my likes and make an order well done with all flats. The various temperatures of buffalo sauces are good, but my favorites are the lemon pepper wings. I have used them on several occasions for gatherings and eveyone always raves about how good they are. read more

Worst customer service I have ever had. Cussed at me because you messed the order up twice. What a terrible business. Close this sheet hole down read more

Not at all impressed. The wings were tiny and nothing to write home about. Wasn't terrible but probably won't go back. Went because the reviews were so good. But definitely had better wings. read more

Absolutely, hands down, THE BEST wings the hubbub and I have ever had! It is a small shop, but it is definitely worth trying because no matter how you order your wings you're going to fall in love!! read more

Good wings, good price, the lemon pepper and hot flavors better than most in kennesaw/acworth area. Best wing place so far.

I'm a wing fanatic that's lived everywhere. Don't get fooled by their little store. These are the best wings I've ever had

I can't figure out why this place has such a high star rating. I've eaten here twice now, and as someone who loves hot wings I just don't get it. The wings were overcooked and dry. There wasn't a lot of meat on the bones and the flavors were a bit lacking. The atmosphere is dingy and dirty (which would be okay if the food was awesome, because then it's considered a "hole in the wall".) Obviously I've had worse wings so I won't give it one star, but I feel that I'm being generous by giving it two stars. read more

I had high hopes for this place based on the other reviews but the wings were just "meh" for me. I probably would've given them an extra star if the service was better. One of my biggest pet peeves is when a place acts as though they don't appreciate my business. I felt as though I was inconveniencing him with my order. At any rate this place is a bit too far from me to bother coming back for okay wings and poor service! read more

Absolutely fabulous wings! This is a very unassuming hole in the wall, but you will not want to pass this place by. It's alway great to see someone who truly cares about what they serve you, and this is one of those places. Yes, it's small and simple. But it is fantastic! read more

Small wings, sercice sucks, orders take about an hour to finish, not impressed and won't be returning.

Not sure what happened here......change of ownership? Bad day? Sick chickens? The smallest saddest wings I've ever seen

Love this place. Some of the best wings in town. They are def slow but it's worth the wait.

Rick's Hotwings used to be great. Now not so much. The wings are small and expensive. They are not crispy like they used to be. I live a block from them and by the time I get home they are soggy. The service is horrible. Rude and nickel and dime for everything. Use to place a large order every Super Bowl. Sadly, going elsewhere this year. Hooter is a mile away. Go there! read more

Wings have good flavor. The fries were cold when I got them and seemed like old ones so I won't order those again. But wings are good

This place is super close to my house, so when we eat wings, it's usually Ricks. The prices are good, al the wings we have ordered have been plump and juicy. read more

I had their wings a few weeks back and I would say the lemon pepper was very delicious. They also have a good curly fries. Now one thing I noticed was I had requested for no ice with my sprite and the female owner was still insisting on putting ice in the cup I guess because they wouldn't have to give me a lot more Sprite. Anyway the male Cook said something to her in their language and she stopped pressuring me about the ice. I also one time got their honey barbecue wings but they were ok. I recommend the lemon pepper. read more

The prices are high for the size of wings you get. I don't see anything special about ricks, I've had bigger and better wings at the flea marker. read more

I never noticed this place, nor would I have gone here if I wasn't told about an award they were given. The lemon pepper chicken wings are the BEST I have ever had! The place looks like a dumpy joint, don't let that fool you...the wings are amazing! read more

They're plenty of choices for wings in the Acworth/Kennesaw area for wings, but my go to place will always be Ricks! It's truly a hidden gem when it comes to great flavor and taste. The location is easy to get to, but don't let the interior fool you. read more

My go-to wings place. Fantastic, great boneless too. It's great for a Sunday after church. Get it to-go!

I was hesitant to try this place but so glad I did. The best Hot Wings around. Been back twice and will continue to go. Will be using them for my next party. These wings are smallish but that makes them even better. Hot sauce is good. read more
