We could have gone all the way, but we have a toddler and also 2 pre-teens who were complaining they were hungry. So we had to turn back. Next time, we will come back for more adventure.

(Also called the North Idaho Centennial Trail.) This was remarkably uncrowded - a few pedestrians, including folks using wheelchairs thanks to the fact this trail is paved and level, and a handfull of cyclists - on the beautiful summer morning we used it. In spite of the fact that summer is peak tourist season for CDA and the the "joint was jumping". Wonderful views, peaceful setting and a chance to really enjoy the serenity of the lake The following is from the friends of Centennial Trail website. We highly recommend this trail if you're visiting CDA. " The 24 mile long North Idaho Centennial Trail is a non-motorized paved trail that extends from Higgens Point on beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene to the Idaho/Washington border, where it continues another 37 miles into Washington following the Spokane River. Along the trail are numerous rest areas, scenic overlooks and interpretive signs." More info at: http://friendsofcdatrails.org/Centennial/index.html http://www.northidahocentennialtrail.org/

The bowling alley could use some maintenance because even a 300 bowler isn't that great here but whatever, there's other cool things here. We enjoyed the indoor putt putt golf. The arcade had a lot to offer for all ages. Didn't make it to the zip-line but the employees said it's worth trying out! Between the water slides, the wave pool and the indoor outdoor hot tub, we all had a blast! We will be returning for sure!

The bowling alley is clean compared to most bowling alleys and they have lanes for super little kids. It's a fun way to spend the day, albeit very expensive. Cons: The arcade was a let down. I had the $7.50 arcade credit and most of the games I wanted to play were broken/not working. But able to take my money. The lady at the counter was helpful in refunding it but it was still annoying. We tried to play 2 player games but every time one of the games wasn't working so we had to do it separately which isn't as fun. Plus all the games are insanely expensive like $3-7 for maybe a 1-3 min game. We reloaded our wrist bands and it seemed all the games make it so you have to keep putting money on your wristband and can't quite play any game without doing that OR you just leave without using the full amount that you paid because there aren't any games that cost less than what's left on your wristband. Mini golf was alright All in all, it's a fun family place but some improvements could be made for sure!

I wanted to provide an update to my stays. So far, I've stayed 3 times in 2026 and have another…read moretrip planned next month! April 2026- We had a Lakeview double with fireplace. Our stay was 4 nights and we booked several experiences for our time there. The first was a 90 minute massage. The massage room overlooks the marina and is beautiful. The massage itself was just okay. He asked the area he should concentrate and actually that area felt the least attended to. However, it was still very relaxing. My friend and I also booked "Hot winter night" at the infinity pool. This was so much fun as they have an adult hour and lucky for us the center above the pool was hosting prom. Yep- we got our dancing queen on. Might have annoyed the cute couples around us, but a girl's gotta dance! We also booked the "Floating in Frequency" on that Sunday morning. It was a small class and we drifted comfortably around the pool to the sound bowls. Highly recommend! Food is great at the resort and Beverly's "Lakeview Menu" is a great deal. Available until 5:30 each day, you get a 3 course meal for $29.99 with an optional wine pairing for $24.95. We had a window view and got to know the local geese (guarding their nests along the edge) June 2026- Had another friend in town and of course wanted her to experience this resort. We stayed 4 nights in Lake Tower and this time had a west facing view which had beautiful sunsets. The outdoor pool had opened, but we only visited once as it was windy and cold. Instead, we booked a "Girl's escape package" This included massages for both, lunch, and a pedicure. We had a great time. July 4th weekend 2026- This was a last minute book for us, and if we planned ahead would have gone for Lake Tower. However, we were pleasantly surprised at our view of the fireworks from the Park Tower Marina room (stay was 3 nights). This was probably the best for us since we had our dog Luna. It didn't have a balcony, so better for her not to hear the load booms. We spent a day at the infinity pool (rented a beach cabana) and ate dinner early. Then spent the time in the room waiting away for the crowds. The show was amazing and I've never been so close to fireworks with such an amazing view. We had an amazing time!

For the price we expected at least a window and received a room that could be considered an "inside cabin" on a ship and next to an elevator with constant noise. Overpriced hotel.
