We hired Two Men and a Gutter to install a wider gutter over our garage. Within a couple months,…read morethe gutter began pulling away from the house, bowing outward, leaking, and overflowing. The installation ultimately left us with a worse problem than the one we originally hired them to solve. What has been far more frustrating than the failed work, however, have been the hostile interactions and complete lack of follow through from Two Men and a Gutter. Over the past year, we have spent countless hours attempting to get this issue resolved. We have made repeated phone calls, left numerous messages, exchanged text messages, and communicated directly with company representatives. Multiple times, the company acknowledged the issue, agreed that the work was covered under warranty, confirmed our account and address, and promised to send someone out to make repairs. No one has ever shown up to even look at the damage, let alone repair it. Each time we followed up, we were given another explanation, another promise, or another timeline. Most recently, we were told someone would come out once the rain had passed. The rain passed. Nobody came. Follow-up messages have gone unanswered. That was in May 2026. To make matters worse, both my husband and I have experienced extremely hostile and aggressive communication from company representatives during our attempts to resolve this issue. What should have been a straightforward warranty repair led to them screaming at me on the phone about our review of their work costing them business. At this point, we have lost confidence that Two Men and a Gutter intends to honor its warranty or stand behind its work. We honestly don't feel safe having by them back at our house either. We will now have to hire and pay another company to correct their poor quality work. Mistakes happen. What matters is how a company responds when something goes wrong. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone and would urge you to look elsewhere.

This spring, I noticed there growing out of my gutters so I paid someone else to climb on a letter and take a look sure enough there were no guards installed at all. That was six months ago and I have contacted the company several occasions and the problem still has not been rectified. Thank God, I was wise enough to have them a detailed contract on the work that was to be performed before I made payment so should get some justice from the court. The fact that I even have to take it there company that advertises a lifetime warranty on their work is asinine buyer beware.

After submitting a request online, Bradley contacted me first thing the next morning and scheduled to come by the house later that afternoon. After explaining on the phone my problem, he communicated his suspicions of the issue and stopped by later to confirm. Turns out, the issue wasn't with my roof but a loose/leaking exhaust pipe in my attic that apparently someone had stepped on at some point in the past. Although he could not perform the repair as it was a plumbing issue, I truly appreciate the great customer service and sanity check he provided. If I ever need any work done on my roof in the future, I know who I will be calling!

Jack who was our sales/ consultant was awesome as was Teddi who is a manger. Very responsive & great at answering questions. We were able to get a great deal on a metal roof. The crew did a great job. Dedicated, friendly, & very hard working. They didn't rush but worked methodically as they should have. There was supervision when needed but they knew what they were doing. They also made sure to diligently clean up everything after the tear off including another run with the nail magnet the day after tear off to make sure everything was picked up. I urge anyone looking at replacing or fixing their roof to contact Jack at Indy Roofing to make sure they get a great honest estimate.

We were told they were 16-18 weeks out (at the time would have put us in beginning of July), which was fine with our timing. In June, we had not heard from them about a starting date, so we reached out. They told us mid- July they would start and the supplies would be delivered a week before (week around July 4) and to clear the driveway so that they can be dropped off. We did, but the supplies never were delivered, that week. When we called, they said they were running a week behind. Well, they did deliver the supplies the second week, as told, but when the crew was supposed to come out, they were a no show. When I called, I was told they were finishing up another job and would be out the next day. They did send one poor man out to begin work, but when he got to our house, he asked where the dumpster was, I told him, I don't know, that is their responsibly to provide it. Which now led to another delay. They finally began work the 4 weeks from our original date. Once the crew as out they were professional, friendly, and worked diligently. Unfortunately, they did not clean up after themselves. There were material debris and scraps all around the house that we cleaned up. They also had an issue with the trim around the garage, so we had to wait to have a different type of trim put on, which occurred about 3 weeks later (after several calls to the office to find out when they would be out to complete it). There were several things that needed to be completed. Come to find out, they did not put on the new gutter boards, which resulted in a lot of extra materials, that were never picked up after several calls about when we would get the driveway back. The extra materials were removed at the end of September (but we are still in need of them to finish the gutter boards). As of mid-October, the project is still not done, nor is a completion date set. We have large holes in the mortar (that critters can fit in), gutter boards have not been replaced, plus several smaller, things that make it unfinished. I have called each week to inquire about the status but keep getting told that they will call me back. Instead, days later, they text my husband with information, but don't follow through with the scheduled time. There is always an excuse about scheduling the team and that they are on other projects and they are short staffed. During this time, we had a restoration team out to fix water damage due to a storm, and they were completed with the job in 3 weeks, had a manager walk through the project to make sure it was complete and out of the house, but the siding is still not done. Bottom line, I would not recommend Amos for any work.

In 2011 a tornado damaged our slate roof. The roof was over 100 years old. Realizing that slate…read moreroofs were not common, I let my insurance company pick the company to replace it. They picked DWC Restoration (now DWC Roofing). The sales person was friendly and worked well with the insurance company. The first problem was an employee took the scrap copper home (about $600 worth). I raised a fuss and they brought it back. Next, the copper they put on for the ridge caps looks like copper foil. I am glad I had them bring the copper back, because I had the material to prove the new material was not the same. The slate matched nice when they were done, but they never repaired a copper gutter. They said afterwards they did not know how and sorry for your luck. Years later, we had damage to our plaster ceiling. The flashing around the chimney had been leaking. One of the pictures below is an icicle that formed between the chimney and the rafters! That is when the nightmare began. DWC would not answer emails or phone calls. I had to go back through my home owners insurance to apply pressure to get the leak repaired. 4 months later, DWC sent someone to repair the chimney. I had to help the repair because DWC was too cheap to send more than one person. I had to repair the inside plaster damage myself. To add more problems, years later a piece of slate broke off the top row of slate. I went to replace that piece of slate and discovered the crew never put on the last row of slate!! I had to repair the slate myself because DWC had let me know that their slate roof only had a 2 year warranty and they would no longer support repair of the slate. Amazing that some companies warranty shingle roofs for 20 years and DWC won't warranty a slate roof more than 2. Anyway, when I went to repair that piece of slate, I saw there were gaps in the top row of slate. I did not bother going back through DWC, since the home office never would answer my calls. I went back to the insurance company. The new DWC salesman contacted me and sent two great employees that finished the job. Luckily, I had kept the left over slate and they used it. Unfortunately, now I have plaster peeling where water leaked through the gaps in the slate that I will have to repair - because DWC does not stand by their work.
