After redoing tooth cavity carefully it finally succeeded! Inflammation and pus totally was disappeared next morning . Two months' unbearable pain was cured thoroughly through two times visiting this very nice doctor fist for retreating on Tuesday and secon time for sealing on Thursday in a week . Is it convenient for anyone to be out 5K and await reimbursement? Their fees are also 40% higher than what my extended health deems an appropriate fee in their guide. Again, I get it, swanky offices don't pay for themselves but I'm naught but a poor peasant. Nobody discloses this as you're paying. Finally, my personal experience sucked. After a root canal, I was not given a prescription for anti-inflammation or pain relief or antibiotics. I spent that night in tears. A prescription was hastily faxed the next morning and mistakes happen but this one cost me a day of work. Not coming back. There are other endodentists out there, thanks.

However, my treatment at Evergreen Endo went so well I have no complaints. I was referred for an infected tooth as a result of a botched root canal 10+ years ago. I saw Dr. Yael Winestock (his father Earl also works there) and it was the most painless dental experience of my life. Dr. Winestock was meticulous during the freezing process and I barely felt it. The dental assistant was professional and they both ensured I was comfortable the whole way. The office also has really state of the art equipment (they certainly don't have it at my regular dentist!) and a nice view as well. The treatment was in excess of the fee guides for my insurance, but not by too much (I had to pay about 15%). In the end I would say it was worth it for the quality treatment I received.

Not completely…read moresatisfied with other dentists' results in the interim, we scheduled an appointment at River District Dentistry after reading about the clinic online. One of the big draws for us was that they use the latest technology for their dental work, which was detailed on their website. I'm happy to say our search is over as we were very impressed with the new patient overview and initial teeth cleaning. The entire staff was welcoming and made us feel right at home. Jesse and Amanda are two of the friendliest receptionists I've ever met! Niki was super nice and very patient as she guided us through the introductory process (consisting of panoramic + standard angle X-rays, full dental photos, questionnaire & dental review with the doctor). Victor and Shannon, our hygienists that day, were extremely thorough during the cleaning process and never made us feel rushed. There are two doctors at this clinic; we met with Dr. Biddle during our first visit. I immediately appreciated Dr. Biddle's method of presentation as he was going through the review of the new patient questionnaire and dental images. He took the time to really listen to my concerns and never seemed pushy with any procedure he mentioned. After presenting all the facts, he gave his opinion in a non-forceful manner, then truly left it up to me to decide if I wanted any procedure. I say "truly" because even though any dentist will need to abide by the patient's choices in the end, their method of "recommendation" can vary greatly. My regular dentists at the previous clinic were extremely pushy about getting all sorts of dental procedures done. This urgency made it seem like my teeth were about to fall apart, which was odd because overall I felt they were relatively healthy with some minor issues. I didn't appreciate this insistency of dental procedures at the previous clinic as it made their recommendations appear to be money grabs from insurance (I'm not sure if this was the real reason, but it sure came across like that). Dr. Biddle was nothing like this at all and gave us really good vibes right from the beginning. As suspected, the overall health of my teeth was confirmed; I just needed to keep an eye out for a few problem areas. The clinic itself was warm and welcoming. Even though they've been in business three years already, the place looked brand new and sparkling clean... a great reassurance when allowing someone to probe your teeth and gums with publicly-shared instruments! We will definitely be long-term patients here and are extremely thankful to the staff for providing such a great experience at, who would have thought, the dentist!

Brand new dentist in the River District area. With a new office comes fancy new equipment and tech and young staff. Really great reception team. Always friendly and welcoming. The medical staff are also very friendly but they're all very young and with that comes lack of experience. It's not a bad thing but they haven't caught anything my old dentist would have caught (or scolded me) on. They are very efficient so I'll continue to come here. Have already referred a few neighbours there and we are all happy with the service. Thanks everyone!

It was so disruptive that i was also trying to figure out if i had a sinus allergy or something. But luckily i went to my actual dentist and she was lovely enough to send me a referral to this super professional clean place tucked away just a bit past metrotown. The location of this is nearby all the new buisnesses by metrotown skytrain station and the korean hot dog place and so forth. Very secure clean place, building looks like a luxurious high rise condo from outside and you have to get buzzed in from the directory. Which is an added bonus you don't have to worry about the unexpected disrupting your dental surgery. Dr Siu was my endodontist referred by my dentist and he was great. So detailed and precise. Gentle and great communicator. Empathetic and professional, always handling all movements with care and makes sure patient is as comfortable as can be. I'm not in the dental field but after my visit and looking at my charts and being informed with the information i actually suddenly feel interested in the dental field all together. There is street parking outside and don't worry if you think you'll exceed 2 hrs because the receptionist will get your information and help feed the meter! They don't take dental insurance directly here. It is wheelchair accessible. Washroom even has a button to press for it to open and close. The place is spotless shiny and clean. They even use luxurious name brand hand sanitizer! If you need a root canal, i highly recommend you get referred to this place!! Hands down exceptional quality service!!

Nor have I ever heard of this.. -An email she received in response to a query about the price was a little patronizing and that was the final nail in the coffin for her.. The short story: She's a masters student & we are both covered by her plan. Even with the coverage Alma is still quite expensive, and the estimates are quite inaccurate as is the process once you get there. I will now pay 1/3 of what she might have paid for the EXACT same thing at Kingsgate Dental & the estimates are always within a few dollars as well. The waits are also 1/3 compared to Alma (they also open on the occasional Sunday). Alma should also get someone else to reply to customer service emails lol. The bright side..?? Not great service, hygienist has accidentally cut me more than once, and now they are canceling appointments booked weeks away because they have no staff. When I asked a question she became visibly irritated and told me that the longer I waited the more bone loss I would incur. I since went to my dentist in California who took full x-rays and spent an hour examining me to conclude that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my tooth. Dr. Mehdian quoted me about $3200 knowing I had no insurance in Canada, yet my dentist in California refused to ask my insurance to pay for redundant work even though I'm 90% covered in California. The pain was due to teeth grinding and since disappeared on its own. His words were, "I don't know what kind of dentist would suggest such unnecessary work". Shame.

The dentist and all the other staff are very friendly and make you feel very comfortable. I go there for routine cleaning, they always make sure to follow up with you if its been more than 3 or 4 months since your last clean up. They are not pushy, just gentle reminders which I appreciate. The past weekend I had a massive toothache so I contacted them on a Saturday and they got back to the same day and gave me an appointment for that Monday. When I went in for the check up, they said I needed an emergency root canal and got me in the very next day at another clinic. The MOA called around 4-5 dental centres trying to get me in, really appreciated her efforts. Best part, they direct bill to your insurance company which saves you a lot of the time! Would definitely recommend them for your dental work.
