I can't say enough about the exceptional care I received from Dr. Winter. The first time I met him…read morewas several years ago during what was truly the worst dental pain of my life. I had an agonizing root canal situation--the kind that even hospital morphine couldn't touch. I was in absolute misery. On that particular Saturday, Dr. Winter offered to meet me at his office that very evening or even on the Sunday, just to help me get out of that excruciating pain. What's even more remarkable is that he was even ready to arrange for his staff to come in as well, making sure he and his team could take care of me outside of normal hours. It's incredibly rare to find a dentist willing to go so far above and beyond, especially outside regular hours, and to bring in extra help just to ensure a patient is okay. Dr. Winter not only resolved the issue, but did so with a level of kindness and compassion that is truly extraordinary. If you need a dentist who genuinely cares and will go the extra mile, Dr. Winter is the one.

Lower Right: Dr. Winter did not inform me that the bridge made by the lab was too long and didn't fit. Instead of returning it back to the lab, he proceeded with its installation by adjusting one of the existing teeth and slicing the side of another one without asking for my permission or even informing me. When the job was done, the bridge was sitting lower than the original teeth used to be, creating quite a visible gap with my upper teeth, and leaving me with pain, which I never had on this side before, and which he was not able to address despite many adjustments he made. The only response from him was: "Just avoid eating on this side." Common sense tells us that one doesn't go to a dentist to do a major work in order to acquire permanent pain. I would never recommend him as a dentist.

My first temporary for my first implant was so nice, right in front, it could have remained as the permanent tooth. He since has started sending them out to be done by someone else, but I think Dr. Khodadadi does a better job on doing the tooth himself. He is a perfectionist and that is important when it comes to your teeth. I would have made him our permanent dentist if he were in the USA. Very disappointed I could not do that. Our coverage does not apply in Canada. Due to covid, we cannot go into Canada anymore. If you do live there or meet the restrictions, I highly recommend his office for all your dental needs.

However, at the end, she used more than two hours to remove one wisdom tooth and she needed to inject more freezing in because it took way too long. She was too scared to do the second one and referred me to specialist. After the surgery, I found that there was a severe scratch on my face caused by the tool she used. I have never heard from anyone that getting wisdom teeth removed would make you look like you ve got beaten up. It took me 4 months to fully recover. It was such a nightmare.

Until last night when I was crunching away and I bit into what I thought was a rock, turned out to be a chunk of my tooth. I called this office as soon as they opened because it was closest to my place and they brought me in right away. The receptionist was so kind over the phone and in person. The dental assistant made me feel comfortable and explained each step she took, which eased anxiety. Dr. Wojda (I think it was her) was beyond professional. She works so fast and didn't make me feel ashamed of my lack of care for dental work. She didn't push me to get the areas I need work done but still showed me her concerns and getting the visuals through regular photos was way more helpful than x-rays. Overall, I had a comfortable experience at the dentist first thing in the morning and already booked my next appointment :)

The receptionist is also very friendly. However, the dentist Dr. Joey Chi-Cheng Yu seems to lack experience through his quality of work and lack of professionalism. On Jan 30, 2018, I went in for cavities and a chipped tooth. My tooth chipped after 2 weeks. Went in again to get it fixed and then Dr. Joey Chi-Cheng Yu starts coming up with assumptions of why it chipped ex: pencil biting at work which I do not do. Another week later it chipped again! I went in to fix it as I gave the benefit of the doubt and then he realized that there is a cavity and did not end up charging me for it most likely because it was caused from the initial appointments. In addition, he mentioned he "looked this up during lunch" which should have been a red flag since as a real dentist should not have to "look up" how to fix a common chipped tooth. 5 appointments later and $2000 down the drain - I still have a chipped tooth that is extremely sensitive to cold drinks and even cold air. I will not be returning to MC2 dental after this horrible experience and lack of dental knowledge. I will be looking for a new dental office which I should have done prior to all the red flags. I'm not sure how my filled cavities will turn out but after trying to fix a chipped tooth 5 times I assume I will have issues with my fillings too.

My previous dentist was knowledgeable and encouraged me to keep my teeth healthy, but had a way of being really nice about it and never made me feel terrible. Even when I showed hesitation in getting my wisdom tooth extracted (I was clearly nervous) and asked her what my options were, she very plainly said, "you can do nothing or get it removed!". Like I know that Sherlock; I was looking for more information and reasoning. One of the worst dentists I've encountered and lacks experience in patient care and bedside manner. Cecilia Ng was good too but she retired and Dr. Chan took over. Dr. Chan has been great so far and the staff is awesome. The staff are engaging, friendly and keep you informed as to what they are doing. Well for me, they are always letting me know what they are going to do before they start such as 'now we are beginning the cleaning', 'are you still comfortable?', ' I'll be switching to the scaler', etc. Dr. Chan had provided me with options as to whether I wanted Invisalign or braces. He put my info and scans into the Invisalign system to make sure it would work. I had gotten Invisalign which I thought I may not have been able to get/use as I thought I would to have actual metal braces. So far, the Invisalign is working for the front teeth, however my lower jaw is slightly off so the top back teeth are in a bit more which align with my lower teeth.
