The employees here (mostly high school/college students) are very friendly and quick. They are happy to serve you and appreciate your tip. I like the vanilla milkshake with oreo - perfect consistency and the right amount of oreo. My fiance likes the brownie sundae which is served in a take out container - actually perfect for ice cream to go. My parents always get the gelato and ice cream mix and traditional ice cream on a cone dipped in chocolate. YUM. There is plenty of free parking nearby. Went to get softer serve earlier in the week and it was delicious. The small was huge! Easily could split the ice cream between two people. Yummy! I was so content with the ice cream we came back tonight, a Friday. The store was very busy! Understandable. For good ice cream, I am willing to wait. But the organization was a mess. I had a larger-ish order - 6 total. Instead of everything coming out at once, it came out piecemeal all while other orders were also being called. The worst part of is the lids weren't secured so when I went to remove one of the containers, the entire lid popped open and spilled ice cream all over my car. We went to Richman's for dinner, which really means ice cream and something else so you don't feel guilty about the ice cream for dinner. We ordered a burger and a hotdog. It took a long time to get our food and while they were steady they weren't extremely busy as it as still early for the crowds. My daughters cheeseburger came out hot and good. My hot dog, however, was cold and rubbery - it tasted like it sat out for a long time prior to me ordering it. After that we went back up for ice cream and the soft serve was very good and the smalls were very generous portions. We would defining return although if I want to order another hot dog, I may need to ask if they are made fresh. read more

Unfortunately this place disappoints. Most of their milkshake flavors are just vanilla soft serve with food coloring & syrup mixed in. My BF got the "pistachio" flavor milkshake and it was straight up vanilla dyed green . I got a chocolate milkshake which was marginally better but I prefer a REAL milkshake not soft serve. Their actual scoop ice cream is decent which Is the only reason it's getting 3 stars, that and the line does move quickly they have a smooth operation. If not for it being one of two places on the island, I'd never go here. read more

Nice place. Was in the area and wanted to try this place. Although they are more known for their ice cream/desserts, I just wanted a bacon burger. The burger was tasty and hit the right spot. The fries were tasty. Chicken tenders/fingers were good. Before the meal, they put a small container of popcorn for the table, which was appreciated. I passed on dessert, but will certainly come back here to try if if I'm in the area again. The waitress was friendly and checked up on us frequently. They have seating outside and in. There's also a window you can order from the outside. There are some nice pictures inside the front entrance. The tables were clean and the atmosphere was relaxing. Had really high hopes for this place based off of the reviews and unfortunately they didn't really meet my expectations. I'll start by saying their hard ice cream is VERY good. If you are in the mood for some hard ice cream, you will not be disappointed. If you are looking for a shake (specifically strawberry), avoid this place. The strawberry shake wasn't made with real strawberry ice cream. It was vanilla ice cream with artificial strawberry syrup (not even real strawberry syrup - 100% artificial). read more

Ice cream was very good! The mint ice cream was good. The coke float with chocolate ice cream was ok. The vanilla chocolate twist soft serve was really good! But if you order it with a cone and sprinkles, make sure to have napkins or an extra cup near by. We also got the coffee soft serve. If you get it with chocolate sprinkles it tastes like mocha. Great parlor. Has all the ice cream novelties you could ask for, cookie cones, every topping, special flavors and wooder ice. They also basically have a full kitchen in the back so they have actual food like burgers and such. The funnel cake stick was great, kind of bready but still good. Craving Ice Cream on an unusual May day I found this place on yelp. Cute spot located not far from the beach and surrounded by surfer shops. They have a sitting area out front and an indoors. Apparently they have burgers here as well but we came for dessert. They have soo many options my ADD went into overdrive. They have all from your typical popsicles to those sponge bob ice creams. They have 10 soft serve flavors!!! So I went for a vanilla and chocolate soft serve with the hard chocolate on a waffle cone. The BF went with a milk shake and our friend went with a small Reese's pieces sundae. The soft serve is amazing, very creamy and rich. I loved it! The milkshake was good and so we heard the sundae was super chocolaty. Their portions are huge and their prices are higher than a Mr. Softy but the quality is better. Great Ice Cream and Water Ice spot! This was across the street from where we were staying, so naturally we gave it a try. I made the "mistake" of ordering a large make your own sundae. The picture was a wee bit smaller than the giant cup I was given. This is not a complaint this is warning, for those watching their figure (obviously I am....) it is a HUGE amount of ice cream and toppings and ya know because waste not, want not I ate it all. The ice cream was delicious, lots of toppings and hot fudge and a beautiful cherry on top. The wife got the water ice and it was also equally as good and the small was also giant.
