The interior has maintained much of its original structure. In 1943 the restaurant opened for lunch and dinner and still maintaining its 50s vibe. I felt like I transported back to the 50s. The owner was serving the customers working behind the counter and out on the dining room floor. The service was exceptionally great. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I ate a grilled cheese sandwich with pickles and chips. I took potato soup to go for dinner later. The food was amazing. It tasted like a home-cooked meal. Milk & honey is located in Garden City regional airport on the second floor and it overlooks the runway. You can get some beautiful sunsets from the restaurant when you sit next to the windows as well as watching planes take off, although not many flights leave here. The inside dining area is clean, spacious seating and they have a bar that you can sit at to eat. The bathrooms are clean. The service is phenomenal. Tiny always sits and talks with everyone recommends different dishes. She's great. She's attentive to all of her tables. She gives details to the food items and she puts in recommendations. The food out of this world as I said before this is the best restaurant with the best food that I have had so far anywhere in Kansas! I've been here multiple times for Sunday brunch and dinner.
