After 15 lessons he didn't know how to parallel park the traditional way, he was taught using a back up camera, which is illegal to use on the road test, made wide turns when turning into streets, and was told to drive close to the yellow line. When he took his road test he failed miserably. After driving for 30 years I taught him myself. Fredy and his wife also rescheduled many times with no consideration for my sons time. This school is a joke please believe all the negative reviews. If you want instructors who don't pay attention to their students and are constantly on the phone go here.

There were several red flags, but the biggest one for me was that I gave 24-hours notice to cancel a driving lesson due to a death in the family. the company did not check their messages or emails and did not inform the driving instructor so the poor instructor showed up. Not only are they refusing to reschedule the lesson or refund, but I was called and messaged (and sent pictures of my house?) multiple times while at a funeral mass. If that isn't the opposite of customer service, I'm not sure what is. That was the nail in the coffin for me.

Driving has been my biggest challenge and I'm glad I signed up for the 6-7 lessons package. Although I'm still a new driver I feel so much more confident. Andy helped me work on problem areas such as my left/right turns, steering the wheel correctly and merging. Andy was straightforward and didn't make me feel overwhelmed. Whenever I messed up he was very patient and would make me laugh and encouraged me to try again. Practicing with Andy has made me feel less afraid to drive and parallel park!!! Yayyy My experience with Gotham driving school has been excellent. Irene was super sweet she would always call me to check in on how I was doing and took care of scheduling my lessons and road test. She was super encouraging and caring . The Pre-licensing course was super useful compare to my previous driving school it helped me with road signs and how to approach situations you might come across on the road. Thank you Andy for helping me achieve one of my goals. I would recommend if you're looking for a Driving school to look in the Gotham website and signing up for Lessons in a package as they include everything you need.
