My aunt and uncle used Cris' services for years and he developed an excellent relationship with them, something that wasn't always easy to do, as they could be prickly and difficult. As they got older and more infirm, Cris' expertise and care was increasingly needed, and he was always there for them. Now as trustee of their estate I have negotiated a lot of ground that was unfamiliar to me, with Cris and Anne's help. I have found Cris and Anne to be remarkably honest, diligent and professional. My sense is that not only are they highly skilled and competent in the work they do, they are good people! I live in Maine and have had to travel back and forth to the Monterey area repeatedly because of my trustee responsibilities. In the course of that work, I have met some real scoundrels, and I have also worked with some terrific, trustworthy people. Cris and Anne are solid members of the second group! Is this company run by a committee of morons? The lower level guys call me to get things done but…read morewe cant because my accounts are frozen until someone from the inheritance group looks at my wife's accounts and transfers them into my name. Right now the wait is over 25 business days to get a person assigned and then there is a wait to get it done. A non moron would look all around the company for someone with the skill set to clear up this back log. My hope is the very competent lower levels get promoted fast and the trash at the top gets cleared out soon.

Sure enough Daniel calls me saying, he can't file my taxes until he gets paid. its funny how when i tried to get a hold of Daniel over and over and over again to see what the problem with my taxes were, he could take time out of his day to respond to me. Now that he didnt recieve his money he call me immediately. When he did call asking for his money, my response was do you deserve this payment? Mind you it took 7 months to do my taxes, with repeated efforts to contact Daniel with no response. He said yes. He also said that he would have gotten the same results( me having to pay the state, for the first time in my life too) if it would have taken him two weeks. My math isnt that good but 2 weeks(14 days) is a lot less time to wait than 7 months (210 days). I understand that the service he provides cost money, I would like to think that my time is worth something. All the time i spent calling Daniel, and stressing about my tax situation, and having to bug the accounting dept. at my work to get another copy of my w-2, should be worth something. to sum this up: 1- sent my info into your office in March 2- time after time getting no response from Daniel after calling and writing letters. No calls back, no text messages, no e-mails, no letters in response. 3- a service rendered after 7 months, which should have taken two weeks. 4- being charged $125.00, (which was never disclosed to you) 5- Then saying if the payment is not enclosed, Daniel will not finish the service. 6- I feel like my taxes are being held hostage. I have never felt so wronged in my life. if this is how Daniel treats all of his clients, I dont understand why he is still in business. He cant respond to my questions about my taxes, but he can call me and ask for his money. Thank you Daniel for letting me see how you really are. i now dont trust you, or your company. I really hope people read this and take their business elsewhere. Do unto others Daniel! I am a heavy believer in Karma, so I believe what goes around comes around. I hope it does come around. You cant treat people like this and get away with it. i hope you sleep well at night Daniel. i know i will after this, and after i file a complaint with the better business bureau.
