After hearing the fees that would have been stuck to me had I gone with banks and my credit union not really offering up much incentive I did ask around my network to see who could help me take advantage. I believe 4 out of the 8 people I asked recommend JR and his son James at Woodbridge. The remaining 4 suggestions were all random so is decided to give Woodbridge a call. I hadn't heard of them before this since I'm in San Francisco but I was pleasantly surprised! I spoke with James first and not only was he incredibly kind (Admittedly I don't know enough about refinancing to hold a solid conversation) by answering my many, many questions but he also provided me scenarios/options I could go down. No one else provided me that. When I decided to go with this firm I worked with both him and JR. The speed in which they were able to lock down the (shockingly) low rate and then complete the process was truly mind blowing!!!! I'm saving so much extra money a month thanks to them. From the start to close of the process took about 3 weeks tops and they were always available to answer questions from both the market perspective but also dumb ones I had! Truly top notch and painless. I can see why they are held in such high regard by my network and I will also be someone who refers them to my friends and family. After several visits to his home because he is disabled and providing him with excellent service, even allowing him at the end of one visit to pay me what he felt the visit was worth to him, he decides to string me along after an assessment I provided to him at his office for he and his daughter. I made the mistake of not accepting an offered check at the end of my assessment thinking that I would soon be acting on said assessment and helping him cleanup and secure his highly ineffective network and file backup system. But after weeks had passed he finally responded to my emails and text messages to say he never got what he paid for and he can't trust my workmanship. My google and yelp profiles speak for themselves, my service is above reproach and I often have been told I undervalue my services because I'm too nice. This was a huge wake up call and although the amount is relatively considerable to a small business like mine, I have told this man and notified his daughter who I'm sorry she has to deal with him, in no uncertain terms that no business is worth allowing someone to besmirch your name, your business, or your true value.
