The billing clerk didn't understand why I was being transferred and put me on hold to talk to the receptionist. When she came back and found out what she needed to know to move forward I asked her if she could let the receptionist know It was okay and she said - "I can transfer you back to her if you'd like" I felt that no one that I talked to was eager for business and told her so, she replied simply "I'm sorry you feel that way". You'll spend more time with the staff than you ever will with the doctors, if they don't care move on.

We sat in the waiting room as we overheard they were having computer problems. Other patients came in. The nurse kept saying to them I will put you in to see the Dr. ahead of us. Finally after we asked the receptionist if we had a 1:30 appt. She rudely said yes you did but we are real busy. As if our time didn't mean anything and closed the window. The nurse came and took us to our room at 2:20. The others had came and gone. Take it we had the first appt after lunch yet we were still waiting for these others to be seen to get to the point the nurse was extremely rude and down right snotty. I had experienced her attitude before but this time it was blatantly rude. She kept coming in and saying we don't know when the dr can see you cause the internet is down. I asked her if she would like me to call the lab myself and get the results faxed over since that is what we were waiting on. She kept leaving the room and slamming the door. Each time we saw others before us leaving. She said at least twice I don't know what you want. We just wanted to see the dr. This Filipino nurse who refused to give us her name should hand in her nursing license. Yet the dr is amazing. Would be difficult to give him up so we just suffer with this nurse.

Dr. Rosenfeld…read morehas been managing our son's severe heart disease since he became acutely ill 2 1/2 years ago. More than any other doctor I've met in my life, Dr. Rosenfeld breaks very complicated things down into plain English and is very open to input from us as parents. I really feel like he's been a partner in our son's care, not the BOSS, in the best possible way. When we decided not to list our son for a heart transplant, he made it clear he totally respected our decision and jumped right in with other medical treatment options. Even when things looked really grim, he remained optimistic, without negating how hard things were. He's helped us feel empowered and is very flexible in terms of trying things we want to try and explaining why he thinks different options might be useful or not useful. He has a great sense of humor, relaxed and kind bedside manner and is very approachable. We love Dr. Hunkypants, as we call him in our house :-)

We learn of our daughter's heart condition prior to her birth which gave us the opportunity to meet multiple doctors and educate ourselves around her condition. After meeting Dr. Rosenfeld, we knew he was our doctor. In addition to giving our daughter the best cardiac care possible, Dr. Rosenfeld patiently educates us on very complex cardiac issues and makes them understandable. He has had to explain the same thing to us a number of times, but never rushes or gets frustrated with us. (Or if he does get frustrated, he doesn't show it!) He cares for our daughter with unmatched compassion and love. His bedside manner is wonderful. He makes all of us feel at peace. Every time something would go "wrong" we would feel so much better within 10 minutes of talking to Dr. Rosenfeld because he always had it under control and had a plan. He is always reachable and available to address any concern - big or small. What better recommendation that to say we trust him with our daughter's fragile life. And it is true - we trust him completely. We feel very blessed to be in the Bay Area which affords us access to some of the best doctors in the world. Dr. Rosenfeld is absolutely a blessing in our lives.
