Called this office, they told me "the first appt" speciality person would call me back. Never got a phone call. Called them back again, waited on hold to find out they offer "adult patients" only the 1130am time slot because of all the questions us adults ask them. Mind you I never even asked one question other than can I schedule an appointment. This is ridiculous to even hear coming from any dental establishment. I'm a teacher in our lovely town, and taking off an entire day of helping children just to offer up thousands of dollars to a office, sounds beyond absurd! Pretty unprofessional and I will be taking my money elsewhere. Nor will I be recommending this place. Even have my child set for a future braces procedure and I'm heavily considering removing him as well. SMH at this experience.

I normally do not leave negative reviews, but after my recent experience I feel it is important to…read moreshare what happened. During my most recent cleaning, the hygienist cut my lower right gum quite severely while scaling. At the time I did not immediately realize the extent of it because the area had been numbed. Once the numbing wore off, I started experiencing significant pain in that area. I initially assumed my gums were just a little sensitive from the cleaning, but the pain never improved. Over the next several days the pain became worse and began radiating through the right side of my mouth and face. I experienced sharp, shooting gum pain and even headaches on that side. The original injury was on the lower right gum, but I am now experiencing sensitivity in multiple teeth on the right side, both upper and lower, especially when eating. It has now been about two weeks and the pain and sensitivity are still present. I have had many dental cleanings over the years and have never experienced anything like this before. A routine cleaning should not result in this level of gum trauma or lingering nerve pain. Unfortunately this is not the first issue I have had with this office. Several years ago I had a crown done here that was not completed properly. When I raised concerns at the time, the office blamed my orthodontist for the problem. However, when I later returned to my orthodontist, they immediately noticed the issue with the crown and commented that the dental work had not been done the way it should have been. Between the improperly handled crown and the injury during my recent cleaning, I no longer feel confident in the quality of care provided here. Dental work requires precision and attention to detail, and my experiences here unfortunately have not reflected that. UPDATE TO OWNER RESPONSE: this is the correct office. I see that you reply the same thing to almost every negative review trying to shift blame to the reviewers for writing a review for the "wrong office" it's sad that is how you handle your business

My little sister was scheduled for a cleaning at 3:30PM and they told us that she cannot get a cleaning that day because she had to get an x-ray and testing done. They did not tell us that before scheduling the cleaning and now we have to come back another day for her cleaning. My sister was not taken back to get the testing and x-ray done until past 4:40, an hour after her appointment. On a previous appointment we had there, we walked in to a whole line of patients waiting to be checked in. Not only did the staff ignore the line, but they also seemed to not even prioritize the patients already at the location since every one of the staff was doing something else. Again, another proof of them not respecting patients and their time. I highly recommend you avoid Western Dental & Orthodontics. If you want to be respected and want a professional office, this is NOT the place to go to. Even if they are claiming that they will "internally" try to fix this issue, I do not see any progress with that. Honestly, I DO NOT think it will ever be resolved.
