This dental office is amazing! We were looking for a new dentist in town since we moved here 6 years ago. We found Dr. Antrim's and let me tell you they are awesome. One of the cleanest dental offices I've ever seen. They have lots of newer tech equipment. The workers at the front desk are super friendly. As you walk in, the hygienists and assistants comfort you and take care of you like family. I've had some bad experiences with some dentists from my childhood but this place is truly one of the best. They are very professional and knowledgeable. A recent filling procedure was done with so much care, I didn't feel a thing. They truly are the best at that they do. The front desk handled everything professionally, though there was a bit of a wait before I was called back. Once in the room, the assistant asked about my symptoms and updated my information. When the doctor arrived, they introduced themselves and asked some questions that went deeper into what was going on. I appreciated that they took the time to ask about my lifestyle and habits instead of just focusing on the issue alone. The discussion felt more like a conversation than an interview, which helped. They provided some recommendations based on what I shared, and talked through the pros and cons. It didn't feel rushed and I didn't feel like a number. COMPETENT- From the initial phone call all the way to the end (where we left the office after our first visit), every employee was extremely professional and extremely knowledgeable. They answered all our questions with clear and concise answers. They made everything so clear from start to end regarding the process how they will medically treat us, they gave a clear explanation regarding the assessment of the health of our teeth/gums. They gave a clear explanation regarding the steps we need to take as patients in order to maintain healthy teeth and gums. They gave a clear explanation about how much our insurance policy covers and what we would be responsible for regarding payments. Dr Antrim and the staff are clearly (no pun intended) competent in their line of work. I learned a lot about hygiene and dentistry on my first visit from Amanda the RDH. They know what they are doing here and they do it very well! 2) COMFORTING - the entire staff at this office are so friendly and make it an absolutely comfortable environment; even for my 4 kids who were waiting a few hours for us parents to have our check-up completed. My wife and I can confidently say that during the entire "cleaning process" and dental work done for us, the RDH and Dr Antrim made sure that we were completely comfortable. This was the most comfortable dental visit we have experienced because they are absolutely gentle when working with our mouths. I almost fell asleep! It wasn't a 100% painless check-up, but it was the least painless and most comfortable dental checkup I've had in the past 42 years of my life. CARING - They are not here simply to make money. They really do care about their patients. They treat us patients like family. I saw them treat other patients with so much TLC and joy before I sat in "the chair" and had my mouth checked. The staff themselves treat each other like family (maybe that's the key) and each one of them are amiable, benevolent and gracious. I love, love, love, love this dental office. Its immaculate, it's easy to get an appointment, and the staff is superb. My daughter absolutely loves going to get her teeth cleaned. I mean, what kid actually LIKES going to the dentist? And honestly, I feel the same way about it. I hope that shines some light on how special this place is. Time for a little flashback on one of many positive experiences here. I had a molar break in half one evening while eating dinner. I've never really had any tooth issues to begin with so this was new territory for me. I called the office and left a VM (I'm sure I sounded a little panicked at the time) and awaited a return call. That call came about 20 mins later, much to my surprise. Dr Antrim was able to get me in the next day and explained to me that I needed a crown. She gave me some options and went to work on putting a temporary crown on. She told me it'd take about a week for the permanent crown to come in but little did I know that she sent her husband on a mission to personally drop off my crown mold as to expedite the process. She got it back in something like 2 days. THAT is going above and beyond. Came in for the final procedure and it was just her doing all the work as the rest of her staff had gone home for the day. She did everything that typically takes 2 or more staff to help with. Procedure went as well as I had hoped and I haven't had any problems since. So now to the bittersweet part. We were absolutely crushed to learn that their contract with Delta Dental changed. Now the search begins to find a new office. If we can find one that is even half as good as Dr Antrims, then I'd say we were successful. My family and I are going to deeply miss this place. Thank you for everything you've done for us! Dr. Antrim and her assistant Crystal are incredibly patient and gentle. I had a panic attack two years ago (completely unrelated to dental procedures) but as anyone who's had that experience understands, you can't un-ring that bell and a panic or anxiety response can happen at very unexpected times. For me, a trigger is sensory altering medications. I had a filling on a back molar that needed replacing and required my lower jaw and tongue to be very numb. I didn't know that sensation would trigger an anxiety response but it did and Dr. Antrim and Crystal were incredibly patient and understanding. They took their time and made sure I was comfortable and ok every step of the way before proceeding. It's really embarrassing (for me) when I'm caught up in my anxiety and they were so kind and understanding. Additionally, their entire staff is super nice and the office is very comfortable with every modern amenity. Billing questions and details are provided with every visit. Dr. Antrim and her staff are amazing! My 25yr old son had a horrific tooth ache at 5:15pm on a Tuesday. I called the office they told me to bring him in, they had patients scheduled up to 7pm (closing time) but she would squeeze him in and at leas get an x-ray to see what was going on. Turns out he had a wisdom tooth with a large decay that needed to be taken out by a oral surgeon. It being 7pm at night and knowing no one was open, She told my son she was willing to give it a try if he was willing. She knew because of the decay the tooth would most likely break and it was going to be difficult but she felt so bad for him she was willing to give it a go. She worked on that tooth curved roots and all for about 1 1/2 hours. Hand cramps and all! She was amazing and her assistant Crystal was a trooper hanging in there till 9pm! Bless you both! read more

I'm not even sure how to convey how awesome Dr Antrim and her staff are. Truly remarkable customer service. Where do I even begin? First, they serve coffee! At a dentist office! I'll take a cup for sure. Second, her equipment is insanely state of the art. So high tech I can't wrap my brain around it. Third, you get your own personal Alexa and/or HD flat screen TV. Their background music is already something you'll be singing from the moment you walk in. Fourth, they have massage chairs. Yes, you read it right. Massage chairs (and they offer a blanket if you're cold). Umm heck yah, I'll take one! Let's move on to the staff...Dr Antrim's roots are in Gilroy. She makes you feel so comfortable and goes over all and every option that best fits your needs. Sylvia...you couldn't ask for a nicer receptionist /office manager. Warm and welcoming. A++. I had some intense teeth work done and was lucky to have Bonnie as my hygienist, she is specialized in several different areas and is top notch. If you are not a fan of going to the dentist and are nervous about having work done, opt for the gas. Need I say more? Ohhh...Dr Antrim is outstanding with KIDS!! They can watch Netflix! What a gem to find in Gilroy! I have been seeing the same dentist for over 25 years in Campbell but after my hygienist retired recently I knew it was time for me to find a dentist closer to home in Gilroy. A friend highly recommended Dr Antrim and I am so glad she did. Not only is it super close to home but the parking is easy and the check in was fast. They serve coffee which is amazing because I have never been to any kind of doctor or dentist office that services coffee! The receptionist was very friendly and courteous and she even welcomed me coming through the door. I had the pleasure of meeting Bonnie and Leslie at my appt today and they were so nice and professional! Being here felt like I had known them my whole life. The equipment is all brand new and modern and they explained everything they were doing to me. I loved them so much that I registered my kids to come in the summer who are 5 and 7 for their next cleaning. I think they will feel very comfortable here with Dr Antrim and her staff. read more

We just started coming to this dentist and office. We really liked her! Super nice and friendly. Really took her time to check out our teeth. I'd also like to mention the hygienist, Donna, that cleaned my teeth and my son's. She is SOO nice and friendly. My teeth have never felt cleaner. I'm sad to say that we might have to leave the office. My husband and I realized they're out of network for MetLife Dental. So I need to try to find an in network dentist. This woman is a Dental Goddess. Due to bad genes, bad oral hygiene habits, and a life long fear of dentists, I found myself with six teeth in my lower jaw, one broken off at the jawline , and a partial plate that fit bad and was missing one tooth. Eating was becoming a problem. Thank God I found Dr. A. I laid in her chair for 3 1/2 hours while she fired a half dozen shots into my jaw, demoed the six, three before I knew she had started, did some bone grafting, and dropped in two implant anchors. All with zero pain, and I mean ZERO!! As things started healing, and my gums were settling down there would be hot spots, and I'd go in and she'd take her little grinder and make it all good again. When everything was fully healed and the bone grafts were rock solid she uncapped the anchors and set up the attachments on the new lower plate. Now, not only can I eat everything from corn on the cob to ribs to hard nuts, but I look good doing it!! read more

After our visit today it was very clear that each and every review was well deserved and more. The staff is very professional, courteous and personable. The visit was one of the best experiences my wife or I have ever had at a dentist by far. And there was always the utmost attention paid to the comfort and making sure that there was no pain being felt. The only unfortunate part of this is that they are out of network for us, but after today's experience, the bar has been set pretty high so I'm certain we'll still be coming back here anyways because it's unquestionably worth it.
