Dr. Pan's office is nearest to our home and we feel the luckiest ever. I recently broke my tooth while eating a pita chip, without hesitation Dr. Pan and staff welcomed me in to do immediate care. My neighbor referred Dr. Pan since I was new to Gilroy. I first decided to get my first checkup with Dr. Pan. After a good experience, I decided to take my daughter to her first visit to the dentist. She was 4 at the time. She was very nervous at first, but Dr. Pan and her Team was very friendly and made my daughter feel very comfortable. Now my daughter is so comfortable here, she walks in the door like she owns the place. She doesn't even ask me to sit and watch her. I saw Dr. Pans reviews so I figured she must be a decent,caring Dentist. Wow was In for a surprise!! I came in with a severe toothache, and bad swelling.. Her dental assistant was getting ready to take an X-ray of my bad tooth.. Dr. Pan walks up, says she wants to look at my tooth.. as soon as she took a look in my mouth, she told her dental assistant not to take x-ray, and that she cannot see me at her office.. I couldn't believe it!! I told her I was excruciating pain and I had an infection.. I asked if it was possible she could give me an antibiotic.. ?She. treated me like I was a piece of dirt, and told me that she would not give me an antibiotic, and get help elsewhere, then she tore up my chart!! I was absolutely devastated!! This is total DISCRIMINATION!! Her dental assistant was nice, and tried to call and get me in with an Oral surgeon.. meanwhile I had to go to my doctor to get antibiotics!! Dr Pan is amazing! I had been traveling to San Jose from Gilroy every six months to my dentist as I used to live in San Jose and didn't want to change dentist since I'd been going to him since I was a child. I booked an appointment for myself on a co-workers recommendation with Dr. Pan. I immediately loved the one on one attention she gave me and her staff is super friendly. She took actual pictures of my teeth and explained her recommendations for me using the pictures as reference. It was nice to see actual pictures instead of looking at some black and white x-ray images! It was such a pleasant experience that I immediately booked appointments for my two kids, husband is next! Are you afraid to go to the dentist? If you answered yes, I have a dentist for you. You have got to meet Dr. Dawn Pan. She has to be the most gentle dentist on the planet. She is a very gentle, calm and friendly lady and her office reflects that. She schedules only one patient at a time so that you are not waiting around for her to finish up with several other patients. You can expect her to ask you regularly if you are doing alright while she is working on your teeth. If anything is hurting or not feeling right, you need only to lift your hand and she will stop and give you the opportunity to tell her what's going on. She has regularly massaged my face and jaws so that they don't hurt from being open for the dental procedure. I have had root canals, regular fillings, broken tooth repair, deep cleanings, regular cleanings and I am always amazed by my pain-free visits to Dr. Pan. My daughter had such a bad fear of dentists that she has actually passed out from fear in a dentists chair. I took her to Dr. Pan and she now counts down the days till she gets to go to the dentist again because she can't wait to go and see Dr. Pan and her team. She is a master at her craft...and nothing short of magical in the way she (and all of her wonder staff) treat my children.
