My mom was a patient of Kyaw Myint, but he's half retired now and is barely in the office to see patients. I called a lot of times for my mom and he's almost never there. She's now seeing his son Richard Myint and God he is the most pretentious snobby so-called Doctor I've ever seen. Does not give a flying f** about his patient. Apparently if you don't speak fluent English, like my mom who only speaks Chinese, don't expect him to treat you the same. My mom went in for abdominal pain and dizziness, occasionally even almost fainted. As a daughter, I wanted answers. Fainting is not normal or in anyway safe for a 56 year old. He did nothing, no medicine, and referred her to get a MRI at another place. Asked him why she's feeling dizzy and faints, or feeling pain in her abdomen, NO ANSWERS. No medication either, not even Tylenol to temporarily soothe the pain. Weeks later, report finally came back as gallbladder stones and he said surgery, and my mom was scared so she said no because she has to think about it. And now that he knows the reason for the pain and the diagnosis, still no medication. NOTHING to address the dizziness or pain. He could've well off gave her medicine for temporary relief, and if not, advised her to purchase some over the counter pain relievers. But he literally did not give a shit. All his answers were one word--- yes, surgery, no, okay, you can go. It was like he didn't even want to spend one more breathe to say one more word to my mother. After weeks of waiting and suffering, in the end she knows what it is, but throughout this whole entire time and after she saw her again, she's still in pain. He never addressed any of her problems and even after seeing a "Doctor," there is no difference. She's in the same position she was as before she even saw him. Useless. If you can't have the compassion and responsibility of caring for your patients, then why are you even a doctor? Sorry for asking you questions because were worried about my moms condition, because you seem so reluctant to even answer to the point my questions seem to be bothersome. I guess explaining to your patients the condition is not part of a doctors job anymore. If you want quality care, go anywhere but here. read more
