Amazing Doctor. Thorough and really takes his time with patients. The office is easy to get to and his staff is excellent.

I just wrote a review for a doctor in my new home town of Seattle, Wa. I had to think about Dr Feher, my GP that I've used for most of my adult life (I lived in NYC most of my adult life). It doesn't get better than this, Dr Feher is hands down the best doctor that I've ever had. And, my husband (a childhood cancer survivor) says the same. He is thoughtful, patient, thorough and his knowledge is unparalleled. During your annual check ups, he will spend an hour with you, if needed. Truly a gem. I have always felt comfortable with him, and have always felt I was getting the absolute best care out there. He's referred me to only the best doctors and done his due diligence to truly understand any issues I was having. One thing I will say, you often have to wait for him, but it's because he spends *time* with his patients. I always make appointments knowing that if my appt is at 1pm, I probably won't see him right at 1pm. You should schedule accordingly. I have only seen Dr Feher at his E 33rd Street address, not sure if this is another location for him or not (or if he has the same office staff). The staff at the E 33rd St location are really not pleasant (my husband, an easy going, patient man, is always stunned how rude his staff is and it takes a lot to irritate him!). Heads up, get through the staff and try to be as patient and nice as possible, because seeing Dr Feher is well worth it. read more

Dr Feher is a real "find". He listens to the patient looks at him (and does not type on a computer). He has a"non-panic" approach, trying to calm the patient. Does not send you to not clinically indicated tests (as many do, to make money). If only all American doctors were like him! read more

Dr. Feher is truly 'present' during appointments and any follow-up calls. He is patient, caring, actively listens and is responsive to my needs and concerns. Dr. Feher and his office staff make it easy to make an appointment, get referrals to specialists, and obtain prescriptions. His office manager always handles my calls and needs appropriately and efficiently with a professional manner. Dr. Feher is okay but he got very rude receptionists.

Dr. Feher may not be the best doctor, but he listens and doesn't rush you. However, getting to him is no easy task and to be honest it is a quite annoying and not worth it task. I am a young female with no major medical problems besides needing a few prescription refills every few months. Dr. Fehers office staff made it nearly impossible to do this. Whenever I called, one woman in particular would give me attitude and make unprofessional comments. One time I had a specialist call her to get a copy of my medical card sent over via fax (I lost mine) and she even told my specialist that it was, "unbelievable that a patient doesn't bring her medical card." She then proceeded to fax my medical card over without even confirming with me that it was okay. This is not only unprofessional and ignorant, but it is illegal! I am very glad that I don't have any major ailments that need to be attended to because Dr. Fehers staff would probably curse me out if I actually needed something from them. I don't usually follow up with blogs or postings but I would like to prevent others from going through what I had to go through. Up until the last moment when I went in to request a copy of my medical records, she was rude and outright nasty. I even spoke to a woman who was leaving after she had seen Dr. Feher and she also said she has had problems with his secretary. Unbelievable how people like her still have a job and to think they aren't open on Wednesdays! You would think she would have ample time to get her anger under control. What makes me most mad is that I know they service a lot of elderly patients there. My hope is that they don't treat them like they did me. read more

He is my mother's doctor and I cannot ask more from any professional. He is kind, he is responsive, he is knowledgable, he is available (even when he is on vacation, he is there for us). He is caring. Most of all, he has been there for my mother through some rather frightening medical emergencies. I am very grateful to him. He does have a very busy practice and it can be a little hard to get through to speak to his assistant, but honestly - they call you back and they follow up and they are all always kind and caring.
