To preface, my partner and I have never seen a cardiologist before and honestly, we both hate…read morehaving to see doctors in general unless we really really have to.. But recently he was really having some weird chest pain recently and it freaked me out badly. We went to an urgent care but they essentially brushed us off as nothing even though he still had this lingering chest pain and said that if it got worse he should just go to the hospital. tbh I was so annoyed at that point and was going to ust take him there, but luckily we were able to get a next day appointment at this clinic instead. He ended up seeing Dr.Yoo and he was absolutely amazing. He actually listened to my partners problems and got an ultrasound done of his heart that day and explained everything as to what was possibly going on. I felt bad because I had a million questions on the phone but he answered all of them and dumbed it down for me so even I could understand lol. We felt so much more at ease after meeting Dr.You and thankfullymy partner feels better too now. I'm hoping we dont have to see a cardiologist again too soon, but definitely would come back here if we have to!

After my appointment, the medication prescribed by the doctor was denied by my insurance. I was never contacted by the office regarding this issue or provided with any alternative treatment options. Over the next month and a half, I called the office five separate times seeking an update. Despite my repeated attempts, I received no meaningful follow-up. After finally requesting to speak with a manager, I was informed that the doctor now wanted me to undergo a different test before proceeding with treatment. This recommendation was never discussed with me during my appointment, and no one had previously contacted me about it. I was told that the test order/request would be emailed to me that same day; however, it has now been a week and I still have not received anything. The lack of communication, follow-up, and coordination of care has been very frustrating and has delayed my treatment unnecessarily. At this point, I have lost confidence in the office's ability to manage my care effectively and will be seeking another physician who can provide more timely and responsive patient care.

Sitting here on the streets of Manhattan I feel a sigh of relief that this doctor was on point and knew what she was talking about. When you see Dr. Rostegar she gives you her undivided attention. That's new nowadays with most doctors. It will take time to get an appointment with her as she is really booked, but I think it's worth the wait.
