So I called another CPA listed on this site (Mark Iffrig) and he not only answered the phone himself on the second ring, he asked me questions to help determine if he is a good match for my tax needs. Finding that he was indeed a good match, we scheduled an appt for early next week. If all goes well, Mark will probably be my tax guy for years to come. So Steve missed out on years of business with a potentially devoted client!

Well, I'd love to be able to provide a more personal review - but the online screening process they…read morehave to set up an interview rejected me. After answering their questions I was told I wasn't a "fit" for them. Given the fact that I was looking for some pretty complicated S-Corp tax and transition issues (which I expected to pay for), the only reason I could have been rejected was (i) I didn't list enough income, or (ii) the computer automatically rejected it as too complex (?) Hmmmh, not feeling warm and fuzzy about the whole "relationship" vibe they promote. UPDATE: Wow, super fast response to initial review (1/2 hr, maybe). Wish I could do 3.5, or better yet, 4 (if they had actually reached out instead of offering to help via Yelp). Sorry, need to agree to disagree. There weren't that many online questions, and one would hope the purpose was to match you with the right person. But 2 of the few questions were how much my company and I personally made per year. If the firm interests you, I would recommend you call them - not use the online gatekeeper. Other reviewers are certainly positive about their interpersonal skills. I'm was just turned off by the cold "sorry no" at this point.

Pushpa was wonderful to work with throughout the process. She was very responsive to our questions, took the time to explain things clearly, and walked us through the filing step by step. At the end, she went through the calculations with us and explained how everything was derived, which we really appreciated. It gave us a much better understanding and confidence in the final filing. The total fees were also reasonable compared to estimates we received from many other Yelp listings. We also really appreciated the online filing portal and the templates provided for reporting and data gathering. It made the process much easier to organize everything and provide the information in a systematic way. Overall, we had a great experience working with Pushpa and really appreciated her patience, attention to detail, and guidance through what would otherwise have been a fairly complicated filing (for us). Highly recommend!
