I had a 12:00 PM appointment at the Voorhees office on 2/7 and the level of unprofessionalism was staggering. I drove 45 minutes to get here and arrived at 11:50 AM, but despite being early, I sat in a packed lobby for over an hour. I wasn't called back until 1:03 PM, effectively making me the last person in the entire waiting room for a routine cleaning that only took 25 minutes. What made the experience truly "1-star" wasn't just the delay, but the complete lack of basic courtesy from the staff. When I asked the front desk for a time estimate during my wait, I was dismissively told "you're next" without any apology or context. Even when the hygienist finally called my name, there was no acknowledgment of the fact that they were running an hour behind. The worst part was during checkout. When I asked the assistant if an hour-long wait was normal for this office, she completely ignored my question and just continued asking if a noon slot worked for my next visit. When I requested an earlier time specifically to avoid another massive delay, she condescendingly asked, "Are you sure you can come in that early?" It is incredibly frustrating to have your time disrespected and then be met with an attitude when you point it out. If you value your time and expect professional communication, I'd suggest going elsewhere. read more

Terrible experience -- do not recommend. The dentist was extremely rude and unprofessional, even threatening to kick me out after I answered an emergency call. They rely on poorly trained trainees, and during the visit my clothes and hair got wet from their careless work. Easily one of the worst dental offices I've ever been to. read more

Tldr: great price, easy scheduling, super clean and honest practice that doesn't smell like bad breath. Someone recommended me to go to Dr Richard. I have 4 damaged front teeth. I'm a picky person who had a lot of bad experiences with dentists but he proved me wrong, not all dentists are money suckers who do bad jobs. Dr Richard has worked on a crown on my front tooth and it came out very natural and still good two years later. I also had two root canals for recurrent root infection. So far the infection has not come back. He told me to wait and see if I needed the other two done but so far we didn't have to. He's a very honest dentist who does not push you to get unnecessary procedures. I was so happy with the results that I signed up for custom tray teeth whitening for optimal smiles. Dr Richard can sound a little crazy sometimes but it's all good fun; he's only trying to make conversation :). I bring my whole family to him. My sister also had two root canals done by him that turned out great. He also gives a lot of freebies like travel sized toothpaste and toothbrushes especially if you're a good customer aka has tons of dental issues. A little warning: he might not give you anesthesia before a procedure unless you ask for it. That's probably how he can keep costs down but it's better for your body anyway ;). This is not for the weak. I'd rather save a few hundred $ just to endure a bit of pain for 30 min. read more

I was a patient of Dr. Ip when I was a teenager and this guy is why I'm afraid of dentists to this day. He'd stick me with the giant novocaine syringe after dabbing me with a numbing gel q-tip for literally two seconds. Holy crap man, it takes an easy 30 seconds for some patients to receive local numbness with that stuff. He'd be incredibly rude and condescending if you needed a lot of work done. You're young and need multiple fillings? Get ready to be scolded as though you're one of his children. And on top of this, he completely missed the fact that I had a severe case of TMJ which was the root cause of my back teeth continuously getting damaged, while maintaining an open bite on my front teeth! Years later, it just feels like I was mistreated, had my condition milked for money, and now that I'm an adult I have to foot the bill for an orthognathic surgery that could've been prevented if this guy actually didn't turn a blind eye. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Ip's for nearly 20 years. Dr. Ip is the best dentist I've ever been to. He is personable and professional. His staff is always friendly and professional, as well. He's got several offices all with convenient hours and he's even got Sunday appointments! My children are also patients. When my kids were small, they went to one of the area's popular children's dental practices and every, single time we visited, I was told they had numerous cavities. My family had been long time patients of this practice. We had to switch insurance companies and could no longer come here. When my husband went to a new dentist, he had found out the root canal he had done was only partially completed. They was still a root there that needed to be removed. Almost a year after the visit we receive a collection notice. Not once did we receive a bill!!! Directly to collections. Absolute worst "Doctor" I've ever met. He was very impatient, he was in a rush when it came to doing my filling. He did not stop talking about senseless topics and the filling work is by-far the worst I have ever seen. Its come out more than three times and he still doesn't do it right. The Receptionist was not only rude but arrogant and cold. Not the kind of person you want working in your office.
