Hello there!
I went in with my son today for his first appointment with Dr. Eby. (07/07/2016)
The new receptionist (of 3 weeks) was still learning so she went to get the nurse. The nurse came out and told me that she did not have my son on her schedule for today, or at all. She further stated that she did not remember making this appointment at all. She then asked me if my son's doctor's office made the appointment and I told her yes, as I handed her the paperwork. She asked if I wanted to reschedule to this afternoon or even tomorrow; however, my son had appointments for both times.
I told her that while I was on vacation someone from her office had called to remind me of the appointment. She stated to me that reminder calls did not go out until the night before and she did not call me.
The doctor came out and she was whispering to the doctor that I had stated I received a reminder call last night. I said, "Excuse me, I did not say that, I said I received a reminder call while I was on vacation." She stated that I had not said that, I had just said I received a reminder call. Maybe she should have asked me then and not assumed.
I started filling out paperwork, and I asked the receptionist how she could stand working for that nurse .... because I'm telling you there is no way I could work for her. The receptionist went running to the nurse to tell her what I had said. Then the receptionist hid for the rest of the time I was there.
The nurse came out and asked me in front of another patient, if I would like to be referred to a different doctor. I responded, "No, you just rubbed me the wrong way and I will get over it." The nurse said, "Well what you said to her was inappropriate and I'm going to refuse to see you." To which I responded, "You are refusing to see my son, not me." She did not care. She took my papers to shred them and gave me my papers back.
1. The receptionist should have kept her mouth closed and not have acted like a tattle-tale in first grade.
2. The nurse should not have given me a hard time about my son's appointment.
3. The nurse should not have a complex about having to be liked by everyone.
4. The nurse should not think she has power she doesn't have, the doctor should have come out to talk to me and ask me what was wrong.
5. Both the nurse and the receptionist should go bye-bye. They are both a joke.
6. How do they handle irate clients, call the police on them?
Very Unprofessional Medical Office. I do not recommend them at all!
I know my son's doctor's office won't anymore. read more
