We were then told by the doctor that this was not an extraction appointment, not a consultation appointment. When we tried to explain the matter to the Doctor, he rudely told us to leave and walked out on us. He was in the room for less than 60 seconds before leaving. And I did end up shouting down the hall, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" but ya know, I was the asshole for trying to advocate for my deaf fiance. 0/10 Have already filed a complaint with the licensee board.

They felt an oral surgeon would be the best benefit for her and Dr Brown was consulted and was in-house that day. My mother is on Chemo and one of the side effects is possible bone involvement around the jaw and Dr Brown as well as all of us was acutely aware of this and admitted my mother and scheduled her for surgery the next morning. Everything went well, and my mother is recovering well and back to her normal self. Dr Brown personality is incredible. He's exactly the type of surgeon you'd want treating your mother. Nice, talkative, knowledgeable and cares for not only his craft but his patients. I wouldn't hesitate considering University Oral and Max again or Dr Brown. You're in great hands here!

She told me her name and then the first nurse told me I would be okay. I felt a little pain as it was making its way out but it wasn't too bad. They were thorough and took x-rays ahead of time, clearly explained the images to us, and educated us about how his roots were not very long, but that if we waited, they could potentially grow longer, and the teeth would be harder to extract. On the day of the procedure, they gave my son anesthesia before numbing his gums with Novacaine which made the procedure nearly painless. They completed the procedure in about a half hour at the most. They kept my son sitting upright in a chair in the recovery room for another half hour before the anesthesia finally wore off and he was able to walk out of there. They made sure that they supplied us with gauze pads, a syringe, clear discharge instructions, etc. Pro tip: check your insurance plan to see how much you have left of your deductible before scheduling your appointment. My son had a few fillings earlier in the year which used up a good portion of his deductible. If you schedule your dental procedures in different calendar years, you will pay less.

He has 3 chairs, though one is usually reserved for procedures he does himself. He is very calm and very softspoken, but as I've gotten older I have been able to experience some of his very funny, very dry humor. Kathy and Linda are his 2 hygienists that have been there the whole while, and I do not trust anyone to clean my teeth besides them. I've never been picked at, poked, made bleed by either of them. I think the biggest testament to Dr. Tilelli is that he doesn't push for unnecessary procedures or referrals to orthodontists. I have had 1 tooth pulled to avoid messing up my adult teeth when it wouldn't fall out, my sister had 1 cavity that he decided not to fill because she was going to lose that tooth anytime. My sister and I both have slightly crooked teeth, and he never once suggested we get braces, he said it would do more harm moving everything else to fix the 1-2 teeth that were out of line. Another favorite quote from him is that my sister and I have better and far cheaper teeth than his kids. If you have a child that is scared or may be a trouble maker, they specifically do early morning and weekend appointments, as to not frighten other children, and they will suggest not bringing any younger siblings they might frighten. This is the winter season, children are going to have a runny nose. Should we just cancel life and never take them outside again?
