Since my original review was from 2009, I felt Dr. Harrison & co certainly deserve a refresher. Still a five star all the way. I actually went back for an extraction in November 2010 for a tooth that was beyond saving. Yet again, I was treated to exemplary service, a caring staff and a job extremely well done. Unfortunately a couple weeks ago while chomping down on a "Chicken Power" pot pie, one of teeth cracked. Ouch. And to double my trouble, the filling in another back tooth fell out leaving a painful mess behind. I had zippo idea who to call or where to go: naturally my first instinct was.. Dr. Harrison! After needing to reschedule due to Hurricane Sandy (they actually wanted me to come in the same morning I originally called!), I stopped in for a morning appointment and was seen after very little wait time. Despite being all childishly anxious, the second I sat in the examination room, it all totally melted away. Seriously: the staff here is just so comforting it's almost impossible to be terrified. Ultimately, both my teeth can likely be saved however I was referred to a specialist for a couple of root canals (eek) since sadly they don't do them. Of course, yet again, they went out of their way for me, even calling the facility for an open appointment after he discussed my options in detail. Thankfully, he prescribed me antibiotics and a pain killer to float me through to my appointment next week. I really mean it folks: as much as I'd rather keep all mai chompers, I have these peeps on my speed dial should anything happen & you totally should too. There's just something so pleasant about them that can calm the worst situations and I'm 100% grateful to Dr. Harrison for that.

He is NOT a regular family dentist, only an oral surgeon. He should be classified as such.

I can't say enough about Dr Harrison as well as everyone else in the office for the treatment and care I received.

They were thorough and took x-rays ahead of time, clearly explained the images to us, and educated us about how his roots were not very long, but that if we waited, they could potentially grow longer, and the teeth would be harder to extract. On the day of the procedure, they gave my son anesthesia before numbing his gums with Novacaine which made the procedure nearly painless. They completed the procedure in about a half hour at the most. They kept my son sitting upright in a chair in the recovery room for another half hour before the anesthesia finally wore off and he was able to walk out of there. They made sure that they supplied us with gauze pads, a syringe, clear discharge instructions, etc. Pro tip: check your insurance plan to see how much you have left of your deductible before scheduling your appointment. My son had a few fillings earlier in the year which used up a good portion of his deductible. If you schedule your dental procedures in different calendar years, you will pay less.

During the first appointment for my wisdom teeth dr. Mo Banki was dismissive to my concerns and…read morejust seemed like he was trying to be "hip" or "cool". I told him I didn't want any hard drugs because I was concerned about addiction and he said "well don't pick them up". This is why people form addictions. I needed a medication for another medical problem I have which this surgery would effect. I told them a total of 3 times, at first appointment, before they attempted to sedate me and before I left. I advocated for myself and was ignored. Surgery day came and he came into the office, put an Iv in my arm with NO GLOVES.He was moving so fast between patients I didn't even see if he washed his hands. They attempted to sedate me and gave up. After making me wait 1 hr past my appointment time they said we had to reschedule because it was past my appointment slot since I didn't get to sleep. The amazing, caring, kind, compassionate Anesthesiologist has nothing to do with this. He's the only one that talked to me when I was clearly scared, stayed with me, and explained things to me. After they failed to sedate me, the dr. said he can do it with local anesthesia. He gave me shots on both sides of my mouth. He immedietly went to pull my tooth and I felt sharp intense pain. I told him to stop and was crying. He got mad at me because he said "look at how much I already gave you I can't just keep giving you novocaine. " He went to another patient and pulled the teeth there and returned. He gave me more on my right side and it ended up working fine. He immedietly went to pull my left side and I flinched in pain and was bawling my eyes out at this point. THE LEFT SIDE WASNT NUMB. he used half as much on my left side and didn't even attempt to stop when I was in excruciating pain. Finally both teeth were pulled it was done. He left the room and said I didn't need to be in the recovery room. The anastasiologist stayed by my side. and I asked if I could go home since dr. didn't say anything. we went to front desk to get checked out and found out that nobody gave me after care instructions, new gauze for my mouth, gauze to take home, etc. Overall he is dismissive, terrible bedside manner, rude, and going to be responsible for people's addictions. I'm traumatized by this experience and never experienced something so terribly medically. I hope you do not use these people for surgery.

Plus Dr Lee lied and said he have me anesthesia when he kept injecting me with Novocain. Anyway when I got to Fl they said I used up all the $8000. In RI and to make the false upper teeth and implant dentures There was another $4000. That was in 2019. Fl did a beautiful job and I was pleased. Today August 23 2022 1:00 as I was eating fried shrimp and tater tots for lunch I noticed something lumpy in my mouth. It was one of the teeth, 2 nd from the front. Now the denture is razor like. I called a repair place in Pawtucket and they said drop it off and pick it up tomorrow. So I called Aspen and she said come in at 4:00. Got there, signed in,barley sat and was called to sit in the operating chair. She took the denture and tooth. Came back 10 minutes later with it all fixed said it was still in warranty till 2027 and sent me on my way. Had to update my accounting for this place. I still think their original people that make you sign you first child away for dental work is off the wall and I would never have a tooth pulled from this horror house, but cleaning and their lab is superior to none.

The day of the procedure, I was greeted with such ignorant and despicable behavior at reception that I left the office prior to the procedure! When a patient seeks treatment from an oral surgeon, the experience can be made easier with respectful and professional behavior by the staff. The receptionist and ancillary staff here seem to have forgotten that patients are providing them with business that in turn provides them with an income. Instead, they seem to take pride in treating patients without courtesy or deference.
