Looks like they're on the verge of closing and based on my experience they should. Boxes piled on top of each other. A plastic shield from the counter to the ceiling where you pay. I had been going to this place for YEARS! They know my name and order when I walk in the door. My take out for Egg Foo Young seemed OK but when I started eating, it was clear that the shrimp had a significant amount of sand in it. Called to tell them and they wanted me to bring it back to them. I explained that I was 10 or more miles away and just getting off work. All I wanted was a partial refund on my next order. I am surprised that there are not stronger reviews for this restaurant. I ordered online earlier in the day, but arrived 30 minutes earlier than expected. They very politely started my order early and it was ready in about 10 minutes. I didn't order a large variety: dumplings (both steamed and fried), crab ragoon, Chicken Lo Mein, and pork fried rice. Food on the buffet was between 90-100 F and seemed to have been out for a long time. I was there at noon. Concerned for food safety (I probably should have asked for a refund and left, but didn't.). I asked the owner if he could microwave to heat to a safe temperature. He was very unfriendly and not at all apologetic. He did heat the food. Also, my bill seemed high. I ordered the buffet and added a bowl of hot and sour soup. No beverage. The buffet was priced at $6.29 but my bill was $10.97. Adjusting for sales tax I was charged $4.28 for the bowl of soup. The menu showed $1.99. I brought it to the owner's attention and he said that when one orders a bowl of soup he charges for a quart. I told him there was no way it was even close to a quart and asked for a 1-quart togo container. I poured the soup into the quart container. It was barely halfway full. I told him I didn't think that was fair to charge for a quart and serve barely a pint. He angrily asked if i wanted him to fill it to the 1 quart line. I said I paid for a quart so I didn't want a pint. Either refund the difference or give me a quart like he charged me for. Very disappointed with food, service and the owner's lack of concern for his customers. I will not return. Also, if you choose to go, i suggest being careful that the food is hot and make sure to double-check your bill. read more

My Husband and I order from them occasionally when we forget how mediocre they were last time. We only live 3 minutes from there so it's convenient. I would much rather go a few more miles for better food. We have ordered, Hot and sour soup, General Tso's chicken, Sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken, Happy Family (which has all the meats and seafood) or the poo poo platter. The sauces are off. The spicy is too sweet, the sweet is not seasoned enough, etc. The meats seem to be of low quality and the seafood seems frozen and not appetizing. The beef is tough. The fried items in the poo poo platter are heavily battered and greasy enough to upset one's stomach. On the upside, I have to say their egg rolls are very good so if that's all you want. I have been there twice and each time they are very, very rude. They advertise dine in so my wife and I went there to eat and they were very indignant that we ate there. It was probably the worst dining experience we ever had. Very poor customer service, they need to hire someone who deals with the public in a pleasant manner. I went with my sister recently because we heard it was really good. I was disappointed. I mean the prices are not too bad so that was a plus. We decided to do the buffet (there are like 8 food options on the buffet) it was kind of cold and they never like put more in it, I wanted some chicken (sweet and sour chicken) and my sister ate the last that was there, and they never put out more chicken. Same with the other options, never refilled it. However, although the food was slightly cold or I guess "room temperature" and even though they never put out more, the food was good. As for atmosphere/surroundings, it's kind of dirty. The table we sat at was sticky. No one ever asked if we needed anything either and we ordered a glass of water and that never came. Now when it comes down to it, if I was to eat food from this place again, I will order take out. I defiantly don't see myself eating there again though. read more

So yes the food is at best average for a local neighborhood Chinese but the customer service here absolutely stinks. From each generation of family members that appear to work here they are rude, and truly appear not to ever care about your order. If it's wrong -tough. If the food is not good and you call to complain- tough. They will tell you it's ready in 10-15 mins only to get there and wait another 30 mins! I'm happy to make the extra drive to the next nearest Chinese and avoid here from now on. This is why small business's fail. The service was average at the low peak hour I visit. Waitress forgot my water despite my efforts to pre-tip. I ordered the curry chicken which was well presented.
