Great Thai spot with a really inviting atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. The food was flavorful and well-prepared, though prices were a tad on the higher side for what you get. Overall, a solid place to enjoy a nice meal-I'd definitely come back.

Stopped in on a Wednesday night to dine in. There was one other party inside. Several delivery app drivers came in so I think this is more of a takeout place although they do have tables and servers. The server seemed to have trouble understanding us but we worked through it. We got chicken as a sampler but it was undercooked in my opinion so I did not eat it. I requested the basil rice with no onions but it came with a lot of onions. After picking them all out it was a really tasty dish. The other entree was also good. You can choose your spice level and I think that really makes a difference. If you're visiting I would just double check any modifications on the food. The flavor is there so I'm hoping it was just an off night. The server was very attentive.

I was with a group of Master Naturalists out at Government Canyon State Natural Area. A decision was made to eat lunch on the way home. The group decided on Thai food at this venue. I ordered my usual Thai goto, pad woonsen. It was very good. I had it with the crispy pork belly and a heat level of three. It was a huge portion, and I ended up bringing half of it home. It was just as good reheated later that day. Nice place. I'll be back.

Ordered take out on New Year's Eve. Food did not take long to come out and staff were very kind. Plenty of seating and they had a few tvs. Now the reason I'm giving 3/5 stars is because the food tasted wayy too sweet, they have a lunch menu they won't honor, and portion sizing is not worth the $$$$$ I asked for a lunch menu choice and she said ok and then they told me they could not honor it because it was a holiday but.. it wasn't. The combo pho was way too sweet. 100% sure they used way too much MSG and the portion was VERY small. Pad thai was good BUT again, portion was small. The Mango sticky rice was good and the only good portioned item of the meal.

Chicken Pho

We are big fans of this place! Let's start with the pho... it's the best in town... and we go to a lot of places. Also, take the spice level seriously on the curry. It is no joke. But delicious. We also had the special of the day - egg-wrapped pad thia. This was excellent. I did a 2/5 spice and would maybe recommend a 3.

I am glad we tried this restaurant and it is really worth it! The food was tasty, first bite is already addicting. The parking could be tricky since they have limited lot and it is shared with other shops.

even years later this is the only Thai restaurant I will ever go to around town. If you want authenticity, outstanding customer service, and amazing taste then you need to frequent Rice & Spicy. The Christmas season makes it more wonderful because they decorated inside and have Christmas music going. The family that owns this wonderful restaurant treats you like one of their own and even remembers their guest orders. I'm very pleased to see them gain popularity and new faces always dining in whenever u get a chance to visit.

New lunch specials have different options on different days. Service was about 20 minutes for lunch takeout and I grabbed a fresh juice from super donut . Restaurant is cozy with fresh live plants and darkened decor.

Great place that is tucked away off Galm. Service was amazing here. We were seated as soon as we arrived. I always have to try Khao Soi, and this place did not disappoint. The flavors were so good, I ordered it level 3 spicy and I could have gone to 4.

Large portions and very very flavorful. Beautiful wife and I shared a triple delight the other day and it was just enough for the two of us.

Our visit to Flying Tiger Thai was a bit of a mixed bag. Some things were done very well, while…read moreothers just didn't come together. We started with the crab Rangoon, which turned out to be the highlight of the meal. They were folded into little pillows and fried to a nice golden brown. The temperature was perfect, and they were crispy without being greasy. The cream cheese filling was smooth and creamy, although I would have liked a little more crab. Still, a well-prepared appetizer and a good start. For my entrée, I went with the Panang curry and crispy noodles at our server's suggestion. I'd never had Panang served with fried noodles before, so I was interested in seeing how it worked. The chicken was thinly sliced, tender, and nicely cooked. Unfortunately, the rest of the dish didn't work nearly as well. The crispy noodles were hard and clumped together. There was very little curry sauce, which made it difficult to enjoy the noodles or even get a good sense of the curry's flavor. For me, the curry is what should bring everything together, and there simply wasn't enough of it. The plating caught my attention, but it also seemed to allow the food to cool off rather quickly. I appreciate a different approach to a familiar dish, but the balance just wasn't there. Service was friendly, but a little disorganized. Several servers came by to take drink and food orders that had already been placed. We found ourselves having to explain that someone had already taken care of us. When we asked for recommendations, our server quickly ran through her favorites, mostly naming items rather than explaining what made them worth trying. I would have appreciated a little more guidance, especially since her recommendation led me to something I hadn't tried before. The atmosphere was fairly ordinary. Nothing particularly wrong with the dining room, but nothing memorable either. With a name like Flying Tiger, I expected a little more personality. Overall, I saw some good technique in the kitchen. The Rangoon was fried properly, the chicken was tender, and the staff seemed willing to help. Unfortunately, the Panang curry missed the mark, and the service could have used better coordination. If you're visiting, the crab Rangoon is worth trying. As for the Panang curry, I'd consider skipping the crispy noodles based on my experience.

Walking in here reminded me of places we ate - the Texas sized Buddha made it easy to remember that we were still in Texas. The smells, the food, the service was very reminiscent of being in Thailand. Being Friday, we started with the potatoe soup (only available on Fridays). It was tasty even though there was nothing "Thai" about it. The large bowl fills 4 of the cups with a little left over. The crunchy wonton strips were hot, crispy with a nice sweet and sour sauce. The wife had pineapple fried rice, one of her favorites at any Thai restaurant, they did not disappoint. I had the chicken larb salad, medium spicy, and it delivered spice and the citrus acid from limes, very good. Portion sizes are generous. After the soup course, my wife and I are bringing about half of each entree for tomorrow lunch. Service was prompt and it's worth another visit, even at 45 minutes away from where I live. Pro Tip: scan the QR code at the table to get the menu. They don't keep their paper menus current with either prices or choices, probably the only knock I have against this place.
