He's been my dentist since I was twelve, and now I don't trust my children's teeth to anyone but Dr Garcia.

Incredible customer service! I was extremely nervous about going to the dentist after a 7 year gap…read morewithout insurance to do so. Although my own maintenance was fairly commendable, there was no judgement from any of the staff. Everyone I met, from the front desk, to the technicians, and dentists, were all so well toned and communicative for all good and suggestive points. I've gone several more times since and they are my #1 recommendation when it comes to dental work, On top of that my cleanings coming out flawless, they're surprisingly pain free!! I so love coming here.

Terrible Experience - Racial Discrimination and Disrespectful Treatment…read more I arrived on time for my 10:30 appointment, checked in, and was told to wait. After waiting for nearly 30 minutes, I noticed multiple people who came in after me were seen before me. At first, I thought it might be a scheduling mix-up, so I continued to wait. But when it kept happening, I decided to leave at 10:55. Shortly after, they called me saying they couldn't locate me, which was insulting after I'd been waiting for so long. It felt like my time was completely disrespected, especially when I saw others being treated ahead of me for no apparent reason. I went in for a consultation about braces, but this experience was the worst quality of care I've ever received. Based on what I experienced, I can only describe this as a form of discrimination. I won't be returning, and I would advise anyone else to be cautious when choosing this office for care. Attached are screenshots of both my appointments and the call timestamp for proof.

Years ago this article confirmed my suspicion of dentists and validated some of the experiences I'd…read morehad with them: https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2019/05/the-trouble-with-dentistry/586039/ I tried multiple practices in town and had fillings recommend to me every visit I had. I'd go to a different practice for a second opinion and have fillings recommended to me too - but of different teeth from what the first practice recommended! Extractions, gum work, all kinds of additional procedures were suggested to me with the underlying threat that if I ignored their advice, I was neglecting my health. Enter Dr. LaBombard and Airport Dental. In 5 years he's only once told me I've needed a filling, and I have had zero issues with pain or infections so I don't think he is undertreating me. My wife, who takes meticulous care of her teeth, also used to regularly have fillings recommended at other practices. At Airport Dental she's had no such issues. The office is clean, quiet, and well-lit but it does not have the spa appearance (or location) of other offices in town. But I'd suggest you ask yourself where those fancy offices are getting their money from. The hygienists are all great too and everyone in the office seems to get along. I've had multiple hygienists work on my chronically tea-stained teeth and they've all been great but Dillon has deft hands and the patience of a saint. Ethical, kind, straightforward are probably the 3 adjectives that best describe this practice. If Dr. LaBombard and co. ever move or close down I will probably give up on dentists.

Great place for all your dental care! I've been going back to this location for a few years and…read moreactually prefer it as my go to place to get my teeth checked and cleaned. They are very up front about how much it will cost and what services you need instead of trying to upsell you on frills or products. Ok, they will make suggestions, but come on, you really don't have to get those extras if you do not want them. It is your teeth after all. I will happily come back here because of the stellar hygienist and dentist. The reception people are usually friendly, and I don't recall having problems with them at all. And it's awesome they give you the little goody bag with travel size floss, toothpaste, and toothbrush. Yup, I will definitely keep going back!

I initially considered Castle Dental as my new dental office, but my experience left me extremely…read moreconcerned. I forwarded them my dental X-rays straight from my previous office, which included both bitewing and full-mouth images (all taken a few months ago), but Castle Dental told me I only submitted bitewings and that I would need a full-mouth series. Given that these are only covered by my insurance every 24 months, and that I just got them done a few months ago, I would need to pay out-of-pocket for this. I confirmed with my original dentist that they had indeed included all X-rays in the email. This made me immediately distrustful of Castle Dental, because it meant that the office either did not check carefully or was misinformed about what they had in front of them. That alone was enough for me to cancel my appointment, but in fact, more happened. Additionally, the office could not provide an estimate prior to my appointment, stating they would only discuss costs in person. This is entirely counterintuitive. Patients need to know if their insurance covers services and what their out-of-pocket costs will be before sitting in the chair. I asked if it was possible for them to run a benefits pre-estimate, and it genuinely felt like they had never considered that. They ultimately said that they would leave a note in my account for that, but did not give me any hope that this would actually get done. Lastly, I was told I would need a diagnostic visit first, then a cleaning, then additional visits for any other necessary procedures. This felt like an unnecessary step to add appointments, potentially just to increase charges to me or my insurance. They scheduled the diagnostic for later this week, and said the cleaning would happen in May, at the earliest. I am moving out of state between now and May, so I requested that they cancel everything. Overall, the experience raised concerns about transparency and professionalism, so I decided not to move forward with Castle Dental. I am very disappointed with my experience. Regardless of scheduling not working out, I did not want to move forward with this office due to the other issues.

If I was just giving the wonderful people who were treating me a review, this would be 5 stars!…read moreThey were wonderful, gentle, understood I had, had a bad experience before, and had not been to the dentist in a long, long time. I loved the people treating me. Unfortunately, my rating dropped dramatically with the people working the front desk. Though nice, they caused a money nightmare. I went in for the first time for an emergency exam, my mouth was sore and swollen. I gave them my insurance and went back. I paid what my insurance didn't and made another appointment to actually get an in depth exam, x-rays, and a cleaning. The receptionist gave me a page that told me about how much everything n my next visit would cost, and I squeezed that with a little bit extra into the dental budget. Later that week, Delta Dental sent me a receipt with how much they covered and how much I might still owe. (The amount I had already paid) I got there for my second visit, and I told everything on the front end looks great, and am sent back. I had finished the x-rays, exam and cancer screening when the lady from up front stepped in, declared that they don't take the Delta Dental that covers me, and that everything done that day was full price (they felt bad and gave me a tiny discount) and did I want to continue on with the cleaning? I stared at her in confusion and horror. Then, I showed her the insurance receipts where they covered me in the previous visit. I also showed them where my Delta Dental web page showed they were in my network. (Which was how I found them) They stated that they hadn't been paid by my insurance yet for my first visit a week before and would have to pay for that visit too. I got out of the chair in shock and declined the cleaning. I went back and forth with the receptionist, nearly in tears. I have a large ovarian cyst that was getting painful, and the money that was set aside to deal with that was the only place I could pull the money from. I paid the full amount, that they said I owed them. They said they would try to bill my insurance, and if it went through, they would refund the money. And if they got paid for that first visit, I would be refunded for that one too. (I showed her again where DD stated they paid for my first visit). They never even attempted to bill my insurance for the second visit. I later called DD and asked. They did call me many, many times to try and get me in for that cleaning, however! I answered each time, hoping they had figured out the insurance problem. Each time I was met with confusion, was told that they DO take my insurance, then told that they would find out what was going on and call me back. I would get a call back from someone else asking me to schedule my cleaning... again. I never got to talk to anyone who said they would figure it out again. (Or maybe I did, and they played ignorance). It's now been several months. They never attempted to bill my insurance, so I never got my money back. And because of how much I had to pay, I have been living on a prayer that the painful cyst does not burst because I don't have the money anymore to see my doctor. (Jan 1st, I'll have money in my medical spending account and can finally go then.) I will not, however, go back to this dentist office.

In 2021, Divya Shetty recommended gum grafting to address gum recession and preventing bone loss and also got another specialist to back her recommendation. Apart from the cost, I would expect a doctor to make a recommendation after considering side effects and long term benefits. In the last 2 years after using a nigh guard and speaking to multiple dentists and specialists in Austin and in India, the clear recommendation was to stay away from surgery in my case. I have not had any issues since. My wife had a similar bad experience where she was asked to put a cap for a tooth without first completely diagnosing the issue. If you have an option, then avoid this business.
