AVOID THIS DOCTOR!!!! my father had a total knee replacement back in 2015 and after 1 or 2 years started to have knee stiffness and some pain. So he had another knee surgery in 2018 to clean/remove scar tissue. It probably lasted about 1 year and my dad slowly went from walking with a cane, to having trouble balancing and using a walker, and now using a wheelchair. he cannot stand up and has no strength in his knee and cannot stretch it. all of this because of Dr. Molina. He schedules like 5-6 surgeries in one day like he's rushing to get as many patients in/out as fast as possible. so now my dad is seeing another doctor and said that he's seen several of Molina's patients come to him for help. Find another doctor/office and avoid him at all costs!! just look at the other reviews on here he's a terrible surgeon!! i wish i could give ZERO stars!!! read more

I visited Dr. Molina about a Month and a half ago, because of some extreme pain I was having on my elbow area. I have been suffering with paint in this area do to an injury, for almost 8 years. Finally Medical send me with a "specialist" whom was very indifferent about my situation. Didn't even touch my arm to figure out my situation, or to discuss different options. He just said, I know what you have, all I can do is give a cortisone shot. I can tell he is in the wrong profession, and right he doesn't like his job. In conclusion, the shot only helped me for about a Month. I have been in the same intense paint again as if nothing ever happened. I don't know if I want to go back to a Doctor that doesn't seem to care about his patients. read more

I had a great initial appointment with Joshua Ninichuck, I was told I was approved for Physical Therapy and I would receive a call with information. Several weeks later I called and spoke with him again to tell him nobody had ever called me. He promised me he would look into it and I would be contacted. It has now been six weeks at least and called AGAIN To be told that I should have received a call nearly 2 months ago. I am in agony, I am packing my house because I have put it on the market. The way this office staff handled this is atrocious. Incredibly unprofessional and neglectful. They even got my birthday wrong, told me they were going to correct it and still did not correct it. I called again today to find out it was still wrong. The doctors may be great but the office staff leaves much to be desired. I don't know who dropped the ball on this but it is not OK. read more

After numerous calls to this office and being fraudulently billed for an appointment that I could never get a hold of anybody about I am now being forced to write this review. I have tried talking to Billing numerous times and they ignore or speak to you like you're a moron. Not only was a not seen in person or Telehealth by Dr. Molina, I could never get a hold of the doctor. I was told three different days to sit by my phone all day and wait for a phone calli and the call never came in. I was given a prescription for a medication that I could never refill. Therefore going off the medication cold turkey, even the pharmacist was a bit concerned this doctors office would do something like that to a patient. I was never seen by Dr. Molina even though I called over 10 mdifferent times. Now I'm being billed $397 from an office that I was never seen it. I will be writing reviews and also calling my insurance for fraudulent billing and also turning him into the insurance companies for fraudulent medical billing practices. read more

Both my husband and I had positive experiences with Dr. Molina and his staff. Everyone is professional and friendly. Dr. Molina performed two hip replacement surgeries within the last six months on my husband. We are so pleased with his work and he is going to do a knee replacement next on my husband. Not happy with my outcome! I had a total knee replacement 2 years ago, only to find out yesterday that my pain and swelling is due to a recalled knee, wrong size knee, and put in wrong, now I get to experience the pain and suffering by a revision surgery in December. UPDATE: Sadly, I am no longer a patient of Dr. Molina's after a handful of miserable visits. His office staff treated me with utter disrespect and never took my concerns seriously. I did a perp work to pick up a prescription! Dirty looks and eye rolls and commands to hold on the phone or wait in the waiting room were common. Phone calls were never returned; I never received word about prescription refills, scans, etc. I played the Waiting Game (In the words of Mr. Plow: "The waiting game sucks! Let's play Hungry Hungry Hippos." I waited over two weeks for MRI results that never came, and I finally withdrew as his patient. I feel like I am still in excruciating pain...but a spoonful of shame keeps you under control. Any requests for pain medications earned me derision. I am really sorry how this turned out...at least they bug me plenty for my balance! ORIGINAL REVIEW It's no secret that I am nervous around doctors. As a chronic pain patient, I have been shamed many times, and I often enter the office feeling defensive. Dr. Molina may have changed my viewpoints for the better. A St. Rose Emergency Room doctor (Dr. Wei) referred me for chronic knee pain, and I cannot thank him enough! Dr. Molina's office was clean, comfortable, and run in an efficient manner. The staff treated me and my partner with kindness and respect; during the appointment itself, I felt like my concerns were taken seriously. Dr. Molina even commented on my partner's year-old leg injury, and my partner would like to start seeing him, too. The appointment was quick, but thorough; Dr. Molina performed X-rays, explained what was going on, and discussed where we go from here. I look forward to seeing him in six weeks. A few days later, the pain became worse. His on-call doctor was just as helpful, efficient, and kind. I feel optimistic about my health! If I could give zero stars I would! Molina did a total hip replacement on me in May 2019. When I kept having extreme pain he told me I was a 'slow healer' and could have pain for a year. He said xrays looked fine and I just had the bones of an 80 year old woman (I'm 54). My physical therapist requested more imaging to find why so much pain. He blew them off, never answered their request. I got a 2nd opinion and found that all components were loose, and one of the screws was not in bone, just poking into my pelvis very close to the artery! 9 months later, I had a total hip revision at UCSF. The surgeon said it's a good thing I didn't have a fall because the screw could have punctured the artery. Molina is an arrogant ass, and doesn't listen to his patients. Office staff is rude and not helpful at all. I would highly advise anyone NOT to let this man operate on you! read more

I would have given this Dr "Zero" stars if possible. He operated my 85 year old with carpul tunnel. His office staff in Fremont FORGOT to order his physiotherapy for 5 months. Now my father has a huge dent in this right hand which was observed by his physician. She referred him to go back to see Dr Molina. When he went back to see Dr Molina, after a 40 min wait was told that he had to get rescheduled. Dr Molina checked his hand and said I am not sure that this is due to surgery. This is the way it was before surgery. I asked him to show photos pre and post surgery and he does not take them so has nothing to show. I have proof that my fathers hands pre surgery had no dent and his physician has the same observation. Dr Molina just said sorry if I could not make it better but it was a forced sorry, when we told him about negligence of his office has caused this issue to be worsened, he huffed and puffed leaving the room. If I could give zero stars I would. My mother was being seen by Dr.Molina for about a year. I went with her to one visit and I was was appalled and disgusted. This man had the worst negative attitude that I have ever witnessed a professional person have. I don't know if he was just having a bad day or what but I would not recommend his services to anyone and I damn sure would not want him cutting on me. He was not professional, he acted as if he had no interest in even listening to my mothers concerns, he did not care about the pain she was in and he never followed up with her after her last visit! The people that work in the front office are incompetent I called to make an appointment the first time i called the girl that answered the phone had no idea what she was doing she sat there with me on the phone asking all these questions and couldn't find me. So I finally hung up because she obviously didn't know what she was doing I've been a receptionist most of my adult life If you can't find something you put the customer on hold and ask for assistance. So I called back the second time the person that answered the phone she wasn't very friendly she immediately put me on hold where I waited for at least 6 mins and which after that long I hung up so I tried to call back again and thankfully the Hayward office picked up and she was so nice fast efficient and helped me make an appointment so fast so I told her I would much rather be seeing in the hayward office so I won't have to deal with the incompetent people in the fremont office. They just don't know what they are doing and its so sad because Dr Molina is a well known orthopedic surgeon and they are a representation of him he needs to really re-evaluate who he has in his office working for him. read more
