The clerk at the hotel we were staying at said we would get a 10% by showing our room key if we went here. Food was totally underwhelming. When I see ribs in the name, I'm thinking baby back! No such luck. They only had St. Louis ribs. So I had a burger, fries, and onion rings. The onion rings were standard tasteless mass produced frozen rings. The fries were okay, but not freshly cooked. The burger was the biggest disappointment. The bacon was good, the grilled onions had no flavor, and the meat was just boring. I've had better at Burger King, and I don't go to BK to eat if I can help it. My wife had fish and ribs. The fish was under cooked. She did enjoy the ribs, but nothing worth mentioning. There doesn't seem to be a lot of cooking here. Just open a bag and fry it or grill it. 2 stars, one for actually smoking the ribs, and one for the very friendly service. read more

We've been coming here for over 5 years. It was good until about a year ago. We used to go twice a week until then. We were used to the food never being hot, but it was good, so we were ok with it. Truly though, how can the food literally NEVER be hot?? The food has declined in quality, and the service has turned completely horrible, so we just can't justify spending $80 on dinner. My family if 4 went today at 1:00 to eat lunch. It was terrible the waiters finally came by about 20 minutes after we were seated to get out drink order. Walked by several times before asking if our order was taken. We finally got out food an hour later. I asked 3 times for salad dressing as I was finishing up she brought my salad dressing. Then went to go pay girl was standing up there at the payout and said what do you need I said I need to pay she rudely said who was your waiter I showed her my receipt. When I'm in Duncan this is the first stop. Always!! Crib Cobb Salad and their smoked sausage is the usual. The service is top notch, I've never had a bad experience and cozy booths make it perfect. Starting off with good. It wasn't crazy packed on a Tuesday night and got seated pretty quick. Was able to get a trio of meats with 2 sides - it was 1 rib (but got an extra to try both dry rub and sauce), sausage and shredded pork. The ribs were A+ fantastic. Flavor was good and meat fell off the bone. Sausage was tasty as well. Shredded pork was a problem. Didn't seem fresh was very dry. Was able to save it with my baked beans side. Also got mac and cheese side and it was OK - not great - seemed like a Velveeta cheese type of macaroni. Opted to get a dessert. I'd say skip it - picked the berry cobbler and it was bad. my wife and I ordered the queso cheese appetizer and it was fantastic. Then we both ordered loaded baked potatoes which were huge but left ALOT to be desired. Very little cheese or butter and the brisket was seriously about 3/4 fat and not that kind of fat that you normally expect with brisket it was that huge clumps of greasy stingy fat that is impossible to eat. read more

We were seated quickly and our drink orders were placed and delivered. This dad gumm place sucks now! The last 2 meals we have had were absolutely terrible. The loaded chicken nachos were all chips w a little dried cheese almost nothing else! Great location. Very clean. So clean in fact I find myself thinking about who does their dusting. My kids love the chicken and beans. The kids get a sundae or cookies with their meal and the servers are smart enough not to say "who wants a sundae" they ask the grown-ups just in case it's not a day for sweets. read more

Typical chain BBQ fare, expensive, and not that good. Most restaurants close in Duncan by 8 or 9. Rib Crib was open till 10, so that's where I ended up. 2 meat plate with 2 sides and a soda, $16.25. Before tip. Sides were scant 1/2 cup portions of very common potato salad, cowboy beans were okay, but beans should not be the high point of a $16+ meal. Sausage was Hillsboro Farm type, not that good, pulled pork was as common as it could be, neither portion was very substantial. I didn't get a lot of smoke flavor from either meat, as far as I know the pork was cooked in a crockpot. There is a smoker on site and racks of wood in the back, surely that's not all for show. This is a $8-$10 meal anywhere else. I've had much better bbq for that price. Food came out quickly after I ordered. Service was okay, I went in within an hour of closing, so staff is busy with sidework to close, but they were friendly and prompt with any requests I had. I did have to wait about 10 min to pay out, didn't see anyone in that time. There's just not that many good places to eat in Duncan. Rib Crib is not on the list. read more

Second time I've eaten at the Rib Crib. Was in town for business and this place is right in front of the hotel I stay at. I had the pulled pork and thought the meat was very good. Onion rings and potato salad were okay, I've had better but not bad overall. Since I was by myself I sat at the bar and the service was pretty good. Look for some other place. Enjoyed their sliced brisket, but the pulled pork was pretty disappointing. It was more just scoops of meat with very little flavor. Their Carolina BBQ sauce lacked any distinctive flavors and certainly didn't help the pulled pork. Their standard bbq sauce was ok, but nothing to write about. I know BBQ spots can be difficult to review because BBQ can be so hit or miss. Asked a couple people around me what they thought and it was, "well I guess it's ok". Not a glowing review. By the time she got back most of the lunches had been served. My Super Spud was perfect (with all of the toppings on the side including perfectly cooked chopped brisket) and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his all you can eat ribs. My preteen says his cheeseburger was "the best I've had" and my teenager quickly consumed and praised his sliced turkey and macaroni and cheese. The hot BBQ sauce is pleasantly spicy without being too hot and the mild is a good sweet sauce. Our waitress was friendly, efficient, and quick. Its been a long long tine since I was here last, 12 years or so. We live out of state. However, we went back home for a funeral and found our small hometown now had RibCrib. I suggested to everyone we try it, as I remember it being pretty good. There were 15 of us and the waitress was good, but not great. It was a Thursday night, not super busy but waitress was having a hard time keeping up. We were seated, and the menus were like placemats. It did take a few minutes for everyone to decide on food, so we all ordered drinks 1st. The sweet tea was not the best I have ever tasted, the watermelon margaritas were awesome!! But the bar wad so backlogged that it took over 30 min to get a 2nd one. So I ordered 2 extras for me and my sister. AND, the waitress brought 3!! I was laughing so hard at this!! So, about 45 min after we were seated the food arrives. Sporadically, but this is normal with a large gathering. However, 2 meals were delayed. The manager came over and explained they wete out of smoked bologna. The 2 guys ordered something else and the manager comped their food NOW THATS CYSTOMER SERVICE!! Only reason I gave 4 stars.
