This is a cute little place close to Princesa Street, and close to the Courtyard Hotel Princesa. We were the only non-locals when we got there. You probably need to speak some basic Spanish to order. The place has a bar area and a full restaurant area. We went to the bar, and I don't know if prices are different inside or not.
On arrival, we were served Galician white wine (3 glasses per person), and a tortilla 'Rias Baixas'. We then ordered boquerones al vinagre (preserved anchovies), orejas (yup, ears), and chorizo with potatoes. The plates were pretty big! We were also served some mussels, and coffee liquor shots. In total, we paid a total of 22 euros. I had a pretty good time, and so did my mom. While Madrid is full of amazing places, if I'm around the neighborhood again, I will definitely go there. read more
