Great donuts and coffee. We opted to get a half dozen of toasted coconut, sugar jelly and various frosted. They were very fresh, soft and delicious. I would definitely return.

I love this place and their donuts! Staff is super friendly, their new location is great, and their donuts are the best you can find anywhere in RI. I also love that they partner with coffee and bagel connection.

These are the BEST donut cakes! Happened to stumble upon them at Dave's and so glad we did. They are great as a birthday cake or for a treat to yourself. $14.99, always fresh and stays fresh days after you open the box! URI students are so lucky to have this on campus. We've tried the chocolate frosted and vanilla frosted and both are delicious! Buy one, you won't regret it.

Wow! URI students are so lucky they have this place on campus. Knew I would love this place because I heard they're similar to Allie's which are the real deal. The old fashioned donuts are where it's at. All regular donuts are only $2. My favorite was the glazed blueberry stick. It was unbelievable! Fried perfectly, great glaze, nice blueberry flavor and the inside had an on-point old fashioned dough. Only $2 and a good size. The other donuts I got was their chocolate old fashioned with chocolate frosting, jelly filled and maple frosted yeast/brioche donut. All were amazing and came to $8 even for all 4 donuts. I was already down in Southern RI but I'll drive 50 minutes for these beauties!

I've been here now on two occasions and both times was overwhelmingly satisfied with the wares offered. I can't speak for the coffee, as I'm not a coffee drinker. But the pastries are out of this world! So far, I've had the Fig Tart, and the Pistachio Cheesecake which was to die for. I'm hoping this cafe can make a go of it as Narragansett is pretty devoid of good bakeries in that end of the town. The bakeries near the shore tend to be tourist traps with mediocre offerings, indifferent staffing and exorbitant prices. Galleria Dolce is a welcomed breath of relief from these other shops. If you're in the area, I give it my highest recommendation.

My eggplant calzone was excellent, and the prosciutto panini was made to perfection. There is beautiful art throughout that you can actually purchase! And did I mention they throw tea parties? Absolutely love it & will be coming back!

They are committed to using healthy ingredients. The Morning Buns from this bakery were highly recommended by a local. They did not disappoint. Order included; **Morning Buns - their rendition of a cinnamon bun. "The bakers work this croissant dough for several days, folding in cinnamon, brown sugar, butter, and love. Guaranteed to be one of the best pastries you've ever tasted." The buttery layers melted in my mouth. The cinnamon was fragrant and did not dominate the flavor of the sweet pastry. I understand why they are the most popular item on the pastry menu. **Almond Danish -- My favorite in a close competition after a sampling. The almond paste gave them a pronounced nut flavor as well as a slightly chewy bite. **Monkey Bread pastry -- although fresh tasting, it was a little dry and only mildly flavorful. It was my least favorite. **Chocolate Chip Cookies -- crunchy at edges with a little chew and a pleasant aftertaste of butter. Excellent! As a novice baker of Sourdough Breads, I was pleased to learn that the Bakery has a Sourdough focus using sourdough starter for most products including the croissants believing it's healthier and easier to digest. Amazing! Wish I lived closer. The bread selection was impressive and included Sourdough. Sliced upon request, they are popular and often sold out. I was advised to get there early.

Amazing coffee and baked goods served by genuinely amazing people. An excellent experience... no surprise to overhear them chatting away with their "regulars" who seemed to be there (I laughed when I overheard someone ordering something different than their "usual order"). Charming interior, with space to eat on site. Over two visits in 2 days, I had their morning bun (OMG), spinach feta croissant and pain au chocolate... cannot wait to go back on my next trip to RI (or better yet, please open in NYC ). I think everything was $5.85/each.

I got there around 11am but they still had a wide selection of calzones, pastries and pizza available. The ladies working the counter were very nice and quick as well. Before long I had my pizza strip and zeppole, and was on my way. The pizza strip at first was sweet. Almost too sweet for me, but as I continued, the sweetness faded into balance with the crust and became quite enjoyable. It wasn't long before I polished it off. It is a softer strip, with a good amount of sauce on top. The zeppole was wonderful. The whipped cream was soft and pillowy inside delicate pastry. All of it was light as air and it was a struggle to stop at the hallway mark! But I had to save room for the lunch meeting so I forced myself to quit... For now! If you happen to be in the Narragansett area and are craving the Italian tastes of the city, make sure you stop to check it out for yourself!

I absolutely love Belmont and rave about it to people, it's kind of become a destination to me…read morewhenever I'm in the area. Their selection of prepared foods, including vegetarian friendly ones, is massive, and I often get a bunch on "lazy weeks" and they are such a big help with meal planning. Their fresh desserts and breads are amazing, I always get their mini bagels. I shopped the last hour of the day on a weekday most recently to avoid the usual crowds since the aisles can get tight, but almost everything was gone except cinnamon Raisin bagels (for obviously reasons lol). I was sad to see the selection so low, but I guess these are hot items and sell out earlier in the day?? I had no idea but will plan around this next time. They have a lot of interesting dairy free and vegan options in the dairy section that I don't see elsewhere, or that I saw at Belmont years before I saw in other places - they are ahead of the times! Some items here will run you $1-$2 more than they would in another grocery store though, so in the future I think I will stick to specialty items I can only find here, and will drag myself to another grocery store for my basics, because the upcharge here is a little nuts. A frozen bag of broccoli florets was at least twice if not triple the price it would be at another store, and it was a basic brand I'd never even heard of. I do love their natural self care section and what I'll call the "items perfect for gifting" section as soon as you walk through the door - I always have to smell the local lavender. There are a ton of unique sections and offerings here that make the upcharge on other items kindaaaaa worth it (if I don't think about it for too long). All in all I'm a huge fan and will continue to look forward to future trips here! A couple small areas of improvement though: - Something about their prepared foods makes them seem to go bad pretty quickly, like within 3 days - the oils just go rancid on certain things, or they start tasting off. I know prepared items don't have a long shelf life in general, and I don't know what it is about these specifically, but they seem to turn quicker than options from other places - Service is typically pretty helpful when checking out, but on my last visit, the cashier and bagger didn't even greet me and were too busy talking and laughing with each other to even really acknowledge me. I got home and realized the instant coupon on something I bought wasn't even scanned, which was annoying because that was a big reason I bought that item specifically, and it's RIGHT THERE - isn't that cashier 101 to scan the instant coupons??

BTW, they still serve fried dough in infinite varieties but this Rhode Island stalwart would rather keep that on a need to know basis. Fun fact... While Dunkin' has radically expanded their menu forcing order completion times to infinity and beyond, Eaton has kept things simple meaning your hot coffee isn't iced by the time it delivers your morning fix. Unfortunately, a pit stop in Rhode Island is a bit of a detour on my daily commute but ole' Bess remains a sought after destination when I do return to the State of Rhode Island and the now deleted Providence Plantations. For styrofoam 32oz containers filled with crushed ice and ice coffee. Even on a day when its 25 degrees out. The staff was a little frazzled, which doesnt surprise me. They dont have the trademark Red White and Blue cups yet, but Im sure without a doubt, they are on their way. Once the staff gets the hang of it, and the craziness calms down, Im sure this place will run like the well oiled machine that it used to be.
