This restaurant provides 5-star food and service in a very laid back, casual environment. The food offerings are broad. Everything was offered in plentiful proportions, All was freshly and beautifully prepared. The wait staff was polite and very attentive to our pleasure and the chef/owner came to our table to ensure all was being enjoyed. Best of all for us anyway, was the casual dress code (we were in Ts and jeans for travel) for a private and relaxing meal. Definitely a HIDDEN GEM along Interstate 20 in Alabama.

I ordered the BBQ chicken plate, and…read morethe chicken looked more like ground turkey that had been run through a blender than actual BBQ chicken. The texture was completely off and not appetizing at all. The potato salad wasn't much better--it had a strange powdery taste that made it seem like it came from a mix instead of being homemade. The only reason I'm not giving an even lower rating is because the potato wedges were mid, and the service was outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, and did a great job. Unfortunately, good service couldn't make up for the quality of the main food items.
