This is a great option to look for high end furniture at a relative discount. I have gone twice as part of furnishing my new home and picked up a console table for my living room. This item was about 75% off full list price. It was not cheap, but is so pretty and I'm delighted with the quality! There is a lot of inventory turnover. There were a number of items I did not pick up on my first visit (before I closed on the home and had taken measurements) that were gone the next time I visited about a week later, such as a beautiful shearling Botero chair and a oak lovely nightstand. read more

They could simply have put a sign on the door at their old location. I had no idea they moved, and gps took me to the old store because apparently they moved to a bigger spot in the mall, only a stone's throw away . Wasted trip, wasted time. It's common sense people. Been here before and can barely afford the outlet prices. RH is way too expensive- you have to be rich to shop here. However, I love their furniture. read more

They are in a new, much larger space as of November 2025! It's still in the mall area, but pay attention to your map if you're used to going to the old location, I thought I was going crazy. Now it has two floors and it feels like double the inventory. There were 8-10 large piles of carpets to sort through, for example. It's still RH, so you're not finding a $100 table. Writing a review because this place absolutely has terrible service you would think for a place that employees people that look to be in their late teens to mid 20s. These people would care about developing a good work ethic and keeping a job when I went here to pick up a bedframe for my mother as someone who has back issues and other health issues from the past I try not to heavy lift things when possible or try to avoid it altogether. Seeing these two young bodied men who could've easily put the bed into the back of my truck, but instead one had a AirPod and the other was Doing some thing that could've like waited 15 to 20 minutes I don't wanna come back to this Restoration Hardware and I wouldn't give these people your money since the customer service is so awful read more

We are setting here right now. We are once again annoyed and disappointed in RH food changes. It's perfectly fine to add new things on the menu. But, removing or lessening existing items, is unacceptable. First they removed the tasty peppers from the ribeye steak sandwich. Now they removed the beautiful shrimp cocktail! It was spectacular and special, as well the poached shrimp in their salads. Now it's smaller grilled shrimp. Just like anywhere else! For those five remaining people who Restoration Hardware has managed not yet to offend with their policy of mailing huge catalogs to your home whether you want them or not, this is for you. Restoration Hardware has recently taken over the ground floor of the former Sears store at Northgate Mall and turned it into an outlet store. Prices here run anywhere from 20% - 40% off non-outlet store prices with additional promotions (current promo: additional $25 off for each $100 spent) frequently on offer. If you've been considering a Restoration Hardware piece and don't require the pleasantries of a gussied-up store in which to conduct your search, this is for you. There's definitely good deals to be had. The old Sears is seemingly an optimal site for furnishings the size of those offered by Restoration Hardware. It's spacious and there's lots of room to explore what's on offer. I was mostly in search of a couch but, as I've often found with Restoration Hardware, most of their pieces are sized for a home with far bigger rooms than mine has. That said, if what they sell works for your house, it's worth knowing about this outlet store. These pieces may have stories to tell, but they're all merchandise previously featured in the Restoration Hardware catalogs/stores; no second line product is being sold here. To start off, the interior now under the hands of this company looks worse than the Sears that was in here beforehand. To begin, they sectioned off about half of the lower floor while sealing off the upper floor and the other half from foot traffic. And it is a shabby job at that (looks like plywood painted sadly and poorly white). They didn't even section off the portion that connects to the mall. You have to enter from the outside. The interior also feels worse than an indoor flea market. The floors were grimy and scuffed and the furniture just laid about haphazedly. Let's say this place takes the word "outlet" to a low level. And what they had was just awful and so over priced. I can imagine why I would buy anything from this store. It is not even worth the bragging rights or the "ohs" or "ahs" of an envious neighbor or friend. Seriously, 5 K for a sofa that looked less sturdy than what Living Spaces has for less than 1 K. Sorry, I am so not for buying brand names just to feel like I am all that and a bag of chips. I like good craftsmanship and realistically useable furniture--not having a home like a gallery where everyone can look but not touch. I ended up walking out of here and went to a few local furniture stores in my area and found myself much better quality and style than here. Do yourself a favor, visit someone local who makes furniture. The money will be well spent and feed directly someone's family. Unless you need a name brand to boost your self-esteem, then by all means, shop here. read more

We stopped in yesterday to check out rugs. Despite the negative reviews, we found that there were a decent selection of items, and the service was great! Bill went above and beyond to help us determine the best rug for our needs and helped us measure various pieces we were interested in. When I heard there was an RH Outlet, I was getting my hopes up. I could not believe that there could be such a thing!!!! When I finally had a the chance to come, I could not believe I was in the right location. It looked like this store used to be a Macy's, but closed down during the recession. However, they left all the inside carpeting, etc, so it looked kind of like those sad Halloween costume stores. Service was actually good. Someone named Bill was very helpful in making sure I was able to find what I hoped for (if they had it), and would point me in the right direction. He was also friendly. Entire store was an extra 40% off at the time, which was a pretty good deal. However, their listed price was a mixed bag in terms of items that had a good markdown, or almost no sale at all. For instance, there were some night stands that were originally in the $1000 range, that were marked down to $600 ish, and then you can take an additional 40% off, which seemed great. However, there would be accent chairs in good condition that were originally listed for $1200, and their listed price was $1100, and an additional 40% off that. So it really varied. Some items were junky, and some were actually okay; you have to dig. They did have a wide variety of random sinks, bed frames, sofas, accent chairs, dining room chairs, dining tables, dressers, and some other treasures. I did like the dining chairs, which were a good deal (coming out to $89 out the door from at least $300), but there would be only 1-2 of the same chair. Frustrating! I was looking for bathroom fixtures, which they actually had 1 towel ring, but not what I was looking for. I'm not sure how often they get new items, or what their daily markdowns are (i.e. 40% off entire store - is that always?!). But I think it's definitely worth it to take a look here, especially if you're closeby to the Corte Madera shopping mall anyway! You never know. read more

I'm not sure what all these negative reviews are about, it's an outlet-I have incredible things for awesome prices. I'm a wild fire victim and lost everything in 2017. The outlet store has been so generous to offer us 50% off the lowest price. What an incredible opportunity for those of us that lost everything in our lives. The staff with me has been fantastic, I got a huge 10 ft dining table and 8 chairs for $2500, a massive leather finished Bureau that was $4800 for $1400, a zink vanity for $800 which I love. I go back frequently as we complete our new home and looking to finish furnishing it. I think it's a great place, I think they're taking great care of us, I think it's incredible value. read more

This RH outlet is a complete SCAM!!! This is the first time I have gone out @5:30 am for Black Friday. I received their email yesterday @3 pm that they are running an add'l 40% off everything. I have been eyeing a coffee table at this outlet that was priced at 40% off regular price. With the add'l 40% off, the final price is approx. 64% off, which is a pretty darn good deal. Well...surprise, surprise, when I went straight to the coffee table, it was reticketed at 20% off reg price. With the add'l 40%, the final price is 50% off. Is this LEGAL?? Isn't this a "weights and measures" violation?? The woman whom I communicated my displeasure with said they were testing out the new pricing (SCAM) in selected stores. Did they really think the consumers in San Rafael are that gullible? I am really disappointed with RH! I really thought they would have more integrity! Just went up to RH Black Friday sale . It's not a true 40% off the lowest price . They raised the lowest price to compensate a larger discount they have given in the past. I know this because we were interested in a table that they had marked up the lowest price for the so called Black Friday special. I questioned the manager and she said they wanted to get all the pricing in line with all the stores . I told her the last time I was there they had an additional 30% off everything. She said oh that was for a very short time. Actually it was for at least 4 days . It also seems like they can't keep employees. There are always new ones there. Something must be going on . I feel like most people do not grasp what "Outlet" is; hence the okay reviews. The Outlet houses mostly rejected furniture from clients due to a variety of reasons (not liking the color, wrong sizing, etc.). With that said, this furniture is not top of the notch furniture you will typically see in a regular RH Gallery. That is usually why some days there are amazing finds, and some days not so much. It all depends on that specific shipment. I personally have come in here and found AMAZING sofas and chairs in almost perfect condition. It just needs some love with steam. read more
