Italian Panettone cake without the icky dried fruits. It's hard to find and they have it here at a good price.

I used to love Cost Plus as a kid and as I grew up. They always had the most interesting things from around the world at the cheapest prices. Well these days nothing is cheap anymore and over the years (and esp since the pandemic,) they don't have as much merch anymore. But it's still a fun place to go especially if you're looking for specialty foods from around the world. If you're a chocoholic like me, they have chocolates from all over Europe. My particular weakness has always been the original Cadbury chocolate from England (trust me, it's so much better than American Cadbury) They also have a lot of specialty teas, spices, sauces, you name it. Right now is a great time to go for foodie Christmas gifts, as they have a great variety and some things you cannot find in most other places. Also worth mentioning, they have an entire separate room for wines / alcohol. I wanted to give a special shout out and thank you to a sweet employee there named Bobby. My hands were full of goodies that I wasn't planning on buying and he walked up to me with a hand basket and a smile saying he didn't want me to drop my phone with my hands full. He held the basket as I put my things in then handed it to me. He introduced himself, gave me a fist bump and told me to have a wonderful day. What a sweet person.

I'm Kinda freaking out, they carry my fav Amador Co !!!!!!

Apparently the card didn't go through but I never received a notice even though I had a confirmation number and a delivery date. So I went into the store and they refused to give me the same price. They wanted to charge me 130.00 more. Even though I went right to the store when I finally found out it wasn't processed and I showed them my order and the price. They did nothing to help and their customer service sucked. I ended up going to the manufacture and ordering it again and I got it at the price I wanted and the manufacturer told me when it was going to be delivered and they wrapped the gift!! Your store is lovely, but there is room for improvement. Im writing not to make a big deal but you need to improve your service.

I hate to leave this review for a STORE (which I'm leaving on every store page, and then also…read morereporting as a complaint to the BBB), but the online platform and customer service has been particularly negative. We ordered a set of outdoor furniture to be delivered July 19th and chose a set specifically for the in-stock status as we need it for an event on the 25th. Today is that day. They are now saying it won't be ready until the 28th. When I reached out to customer service, they stated that there was one item (a rug) that was not in stock yet, so they'd be holding the WHOLE order until then to avoid a double-delivery, or, if we wanted, WE could eat a second delivery fee, which is insane to expect of us. I requested that they delivery everything ready to us by the 24th, and they refused as its "our policy." So, to clarify, their "policy" is that if we provide you a delivery date that is inaccurate, we expect you to just deal with the consequences of a delay; therefore, when ordered from Crate & Barrel, you essentially cannot ever plan around a delivery date--not even within a week of that date, since we are being pushed 9 days out. So, be sure when using this company, you either a) plan nothing for a long period of time afterward that depends on that order's delivery, or b) do what we will be doing and use Wayfair or Pottery Barn (which is where we'll go from now on) because when things like this happen, they help facilitate solutions, not resolve it with "sorry, it's our policy."

The rooftop restaurant is gorgeous, with ample and bright space indoor and plenty of space outdoor (caveat, only limited menu outside). When we arrived, we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman downstairs and directed to the restaurant on the third floor. Upon reaching the host stand, we let the host know that we were a party of two. We were immediately told there was a one-and-a-half-hour wait. My friend asked whether reservations were required, and the host explained that it was simply due to the holiday weekend. While we understood that holiday weekends can be busy, what was confusing was that the restaurant did not appear particularly crowded. There were numerous empty tables visible, and there were no other parties waiting ahead of us. We accepted the wait time and decided to order a drink and sit in an outdoor area the host said we could use while waiting. However, as we were heading outside, the host suddenly informed us that a table that had just been seated had immediately gotten up and left, and that we could take their table. We went from being quoted a 90-minute wait to being seated almost instantly. The abrupt change made the original wait time difficult to understand. As we sat and enjoyed our cocktails and appetizers, we continued to observe guests arriving. Throughout our visit, we watched multiple parties approach the host stand and be seated immediately. We did not observe anyone else being quoted the lengthy wait time we had been given. Additionally, there were still no visible groups waiting to be seated. I am of Jamaican descent, and my friend is Central American. While I cannot say with certainty why we were initially told there would be such a long wait, the experience left me feeling singled out and questioning whether our appearance played a role in how we were treated. It was an uncomfortable feeling that unfortunately overshadowed what could have otherwise been an enjoyable visit. The food and drinks were fine, and some staff members were very pleasant. However, first impressions matter, and this experience left me with concerns about how guests are welcomed and accommodated. Because of how uncomfortable the situation made me feel, I do not plan to return. I hope management reviews guest seating practices to ensure all visitors receive consistent and equitable treatment.

I went into this store because I am replacing EVERY SINGLE light fixture in a house I just…read morepurchased. I used to live in this neighborhood so was very familiar with the location of this store even though I had never been inside. I decided that I wanted to "shop local" vs purchasing everything online. I have my new kitchen and bathroom designed, the electricians are coming and I am ready to make my selections. I take time from my day to drive over to this place in my old neighborhood. When I arrived, there was another client ahead of me. That was no problem. I wasn't in a hurry as I had set this time aside for this purpose. I was looking around the room and the woman working there asked me what I needed and when I told her, "a lot of lighting" she let me know that she wouldn't be available to help me for 20 minutes or so. I said, that's fine I can wait. Then she asked me if I had made a list of what I needed and what purpose/function I expected from each light fixture. Ummmm. I have a list in my head. I haven't written down a list. I am not a list making type of person but I know my spaces. Then she tells me I need to go home and make a list and come back when I have it because otherwise, I am going to "fall in love" with items out of my budget. Huh?? I was so confused! She had no idea what my budget was. She literally sent thousands of dollars in unsolicited business out the door. This place must not need new clients. That's ok. There are plenty of places that will happily take my money. I walked into an appliance store today and they were thrilled to show me their inventory and assist me in my purchases. It was a stark contrast to my experience at Lunaria. EDIT: To respond to the response. You are not being truthful with what happened. NEVER did you infer that I step out for coffee and come back. I WAS the person who asked for catalogs to look through while waiting and you specifically told me that would be a waste of time without a list. Even your client seemed to pick up on the fact that you were about to lose a customer and she then said, "Here, here are some catalogs if you would like to view them." and that is when I said, "She just said that would be a waste of time and is not her process." If you're going to tell the story, please be honest about what occurred. Super frustrating experience considering I set time aside to come view some lighting and even was very clear that I was in no hurry and didn't mind waiting for you to finish. You made it obvious, you didn't want to speak to me unless I had a list of lighting with what I expected each light to achieve. Those were almost your EXACT words. Not mine. 2nd EDIT: I just saw in your biz description, "Appointments are recommended." This says it all. You could have simply told me, "I would love to help you but it sounds like you have a big project that will be time consuming and I will need you to schedule an appointment. In the meantime, it would be helpful for my process if you make a list..." That would have been much more productive instead of coming across as dismissive and patronizing. As for misrepresenting what occurred, there really is no excuse for that.

If I could give this business 10 stars I would. In October I made an appointment and met with Alia…read moreto discuss replacement of three old lighting fixtures in my home. I didn't like the look in their eyes when they said that. But OK it's nobody's fault but mine because, as the Godfather Don Corleone explained , "I have a sentimental weakness for my children and I spoil them as you can see." In my earlier life I had failed as a packrat, instead preferring with each change of residence to send stuff to either Goodwill or the dump. So my kids needn't worry about their keepersakes. I'm unlikely to get rid of anything from my years as their mr family guy, being that for the most part their stuff is what little i have to remind me today of whatever it was I did before that. Not much to show for some 20 years as an itinerant... uh, itinerant. I don't learn from experience, just hope to get better results by repeating the same mistakes over and over and over and... which according to Einstein is the essence of insanity, but wtf did he know. I don't know either, but in my case it's a moot point anyway, at least according to the kind folks in Bellevue's 9.39 ward many years ago in nyc. But being much improved now, I have initiative: wake up, smell the coffee, put on a clean white shirt, get a haircut, shape up/ship out and similar happy horsesht, to wit: I was going to organize things for such day that I blow a fuse or something worse, and things will be in order. To make this happen I would pack everything in some nice plastic boxes, just like the winners in this world. Which is how I happened to visit the Container Store for the first time in my disorderly life. It's a bit intimidating to enter this place. There are so many different kinds of boxes, giving the sense that real people pack things up, neat and tidy in hermetically sealed, moisture impermeable, plastic storage boxes built for the ages. All this is an essential part of the good life. OK, but I just wanted something cheap, that wouldn't turn to dust like my old cardboard wine boxes have done after 50 years. Those are nice, free and simple to use with no selection to make, being that they're all the same size. Plus, you aren't likely to overload cardboard wine boxes when you've saving books or papers. Do that with a larger box and they're quite impossible to move without regretting it next morning getting out of bed. To keep on the sunny side of life, as I'm sure I almost always do, my approach is: can't figure how to solve your problem then ignore the problem. Is the Container Store where all my problems can be solved with the right plastic storage box? Really? Fortunately I did find just the right boxes, in the exact right sizes... the only question was what did they cost? It was my luck that the items I wanted had no prices anywhere, not on the shelf nor the items themselves, nor some sort of sandwich board on the pile in the middle of the store. I noticed this detail was missing on other items as well. Perhaps find someone to explain the pricing, but it won't be in a mere five minutes as store personnel are few in number. So I bought what I wanted having no idea what the total cost would be. But I knew that to be a minor issue with these boxes. The problem for me will be actually using them.
