So I went to a local bike shop in the east village call BikeFix and I really lucked up. BikeFixNYC is for anyone out there like me that spent several thousand for an ebike from California that has no support/mechanics here in NYC. Surron, Super73, Onyx, Ghostcat, Revv1, PowerGoat, you name it and BikeFix got you. They honestly do not disappoint. Plus they're honest and trustworthy. I brought my PG V3 for some new rear shocks and Greg did a phenomenal job. He also removed some pegs that I had difficulty with. I won't take my bike anywhere else!

I give the $20 and they argue with me, and someone not involved gets involved and I feel like I'm being attacked. I leave the shop again, and the back tire, just "fixed" is completely flat by the time I got home 5 blocks. I thought the shop was going to be OK, but I cannot recommend it. I wanted to share a very satisfied customer experience I recently had at Grove Street Bikes (GSB)…read more I brought my 10-year-old Specialized S-works Tarmac in to replace worn brake / shifters. GSB took care of the required maintenance and tune-up, along with the install of a new cassette and chain. The shop didn't mind that I sourced some of the replacement parts from a third-party. The bike came back to me and the work done on it was sound. I did notice that my gears were slipping in the big ring, along with some dropped chain issues. I went back to GSB, and the mechanic showed me that the teeth on the small and big chain rings were very worn. Moreover, the teeth on the rear derailleur pulley wheels looked like shark's teeth. I then arranged to have GSB replace the chain rings and rear derailleur. The shop got in the needed parts and, once again the work was done in a timely manner, to my satisfaction and appreciation. Thank you to Matt and the staff at Grove Street Bikes! My road bike is almost like it was brand new.

At no point should bolts randomly fling off your bike while you going down the Brooklyn bridge going 24mph. I'm a high school student and I had to pay for my bike with my own money. I've been working since 10th grade to help my mom because she is a single parent so for me the loss of about 5k including repairs leave me without transportation as I can not afford to repair it at this point. I've spent 3.7k on a bike, this isn't including the repairs i had to pay over the span of a year which amount to at least 1.4k+ after random bolts detaching and motor failing, and as soon as the warranty expired my bike had a random electrical issue where the bike wouldn't accelerate. From the owner Pete: OK, where are you going? (Direct email sent from owner) 1- Last Mile NYC replaces all of the electronics on your bike. The cost of the parts and labor is $2910.54 2- Send your bike back to Super73. They will do their own diagnosis, and determine the issues and fix the problems. Unfortunately your bike is not under warranty, the cost of packing up and freighting your bike to and from Super73 will be around $1200. Plus their diagnostic fee, parts and labor.
