We were flexible on start date (and we needed it for some weather), but his crew got right to work. We wanted the grout between the bricks on the front stoop and walkway to be repaired and rotted boards replaced in the yard shed. The project was done on time, fully cleaned up after, and the team didn't block the driveway in the process. His guys even found a way to reused some of the removed boards to fix some spots in a way that really hid the repairs. His communication was good and timely. I would definitely use him again.

I cannot overstate what a positive experience I had with Greg and his team. For background, we are…read morehaving our garage - previously an old, stale glorified storage shed - upgraded into an insulated, completed all-season space that we can actually show people. Given our contractor's schedule, I had a very narrow pocket of time to have the flooring installed while everything - and everyone - was out. Enter Mod Garage. From my initial outreach, Greg was at my place well inside of 24 hours taking measurements. I had an estimate in my inbox before end of day, and we agreed to proceed straight away. Within 72 hours from initial outreach, I had an incredible new floor installed and drying - ready for the contractor to pick up his work a day or two later. Greg was polite, patient, and professional and his team left a clean job site despite incredible efficiency in getting their work done. Greg uses top notch product that you can just tell will last the test of time, and I'm looking forward to years of enjoyment with this upgrade we made to our home. Bottom line, if you're considering epoxy or similar finishes and you're in the DMV, give Greg a call.

My expectations were surpassed by the quality of workmanship and dedication each member of there crew's performance. The attention to detail was amazing. From covering my inground pool with plastic sheet to prevent possible cement falling to the bottom, covering the house with plastic sheet to prevent cement splash from hitting my siding to covering the base of my 6 x6 upper deck support beams with tar based post sleeves. Most importantly, I took down two sections of fence so equipment would be able to access my back yard. I went outside to dig a hole for a new fence post that needed replacing. As I began to dig, one of the workers, on his lunch break, came to me and volunteered to dig the hole for me. These are workers that take pride in there job and are happy to be working for this company. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his wife and completely understand why this is such a successful company. Please give them a try on your next project.

They delivered excellent craftsmanship and top notch design experience at a fair price. I initially hired Gerber to tune-up all my existing pavers, add a new paver driveway, and add some new path lighting. Adding the new driveway was somewhat of a challenge as the adjacent paver sidewalks were initially constructed over 10 years ago. So, Gerber was able to find a great match to my existing pavers and masterfully piece the new driveway together in such a fashion where old and new appear seamless. Amazing!!! During the process, we learned that his team also offered landscaping. So as the hardscaping and lighting was coming to an end, his team met with us for a design consultation. Both Kathy and Katherine brought some great experience/knowledge to assess our current situation and offered wonderful ideas to the overall design. We loved what we heard and proceeded with the landscaping work immediately. In the end, we could not be happier! And we look forward to using Gerber and his team should we have any additional hardscaping, landscaping, or lighting needs in the future.

He took over an hour to measure everything and sent me the lumber quote he received so that I was fully informed, then we talked labor. He would point out problematic areas (like rotting framing) and would ask me if I wanted to have it replaced rather than just covering it up with the new surface. He did an amazing job that had my mom's tenants and the neighbors complementing the work and I felt the price was very reasonable. Based on that job, I brought him out to take a look at my townhouse to possibly replace the siding and he suggested sanding, priming and painting instead due to the price of replacement. They sanded almost every square inch of it, primed it (in some areas twice) with a peeling paint primer that is like glue to fill in gaps and keep the rest of the old paint from peeling, and then put a double coat over everything. When they finished, I was surprised to find that they had power washed our patio, porch, and front half-height fence and even painted the fence though we never talked about doing any of that work. I felt compelled to pay him extra. Deck Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wELQYf0YGKY
