I was very clear in explaining the size of my home and land when scheduling the service. However, when Taylor arrived, he explained that he assumed I meant the entire land, house, and property was over an acre. Despite me clarifying this beforehand, I felt like his assumption and oversight were made to feel like my problem, when really that should have been addressed on their end. Out of courtesy, I still tipped him, but it left me uneasy that there was so much confusion about something I had already explained. What stood out even more was that he asked me to walk to the back of the property myself to check for more ant hills, and I had to push back and request that he do so. My thought was simple: why am I paying for a professional service if I am expected to do part of the inspection myself? The results also spoke for themselves. When another company came out, I immediately saw proof of the treatment, dead insects around the property. With Pro Max Pest Solutions, there were far fewer results, and Taylor made it clear that he would only be covering a certain perimeter base. That felt like a shortcut, not a thorough service. Yes, the competitor costs a bit more, but I don't mind paying for quality work that is done with care and professionalism. At the end of the day, I feel like I wasted money with Pro Max Pest Solutions for a job that was not done to the standard I expected. Update below 8-23-2025 @ 9:04 p.m: This is what I mean, lack of attention to detail: Comment from Taylor: I never asked you to walk your entire property to look for ant hills. Yes you did state that your property was a acre but you didn't specify that you wanted the entire property treat or I would of adjusted my price accordingly. My reply back: No where did I say you asked me to walk the entire property to look for ant hills. What I said was: "he asked me to walk to the back of the property myself to check for more ant hills." Taylor: Yes you did state that your property was a acre but you didn't specify that you wanted the entire property treat or I would of adjusted my price accordingly. My reply: I didn't necessary, you are the professional. I was very thorough and you lack accountability, these are standard questions that should be asked when a service is being provided. You never asked, you told me what you were going to do vs asking what my needs were and if I cared to have the entire property treated.

The technician took a look on the outside of the house and found three different ant hills under the garden mulch, that borders are home. He let me know that he dug out the holes, sprayed them, and then added a "tenting" repellant that would stick around longer most sprays. We've been ant free since January and even with the temperature getting warmer I have yet to see any signs of ants or ant hills.
