GREAT EXPERIENCE!! SO impressed by the results of my call(s) to RG Creations! First time ordering and I'd do it again in a heart beat! We needed potted tulips for a special "same day" delivery. Being in another state we always make sure we're calling a real brick & mortar shop and not a clearing house 800/888 number. Usually with the help of Yelp it's pretty easy to discern who's who and what's what. We decided to call RG Creations first. Cheri answered the RG phone and said she didn't have potted tulips at that moment but her co-worker was currently at one of their suppliers and she could call the co-worker to see if the vendor had potted tulips. Before she went to that trouble I asked if RG delivered to the address we had. UT - they don't usually go out quite that far Cheri said. Mind you this is in the southern California region where lots of cities/towns might seem close, but where deliveries are concerned they're not. I then asked Cheri if she knew of another "good" florist closer to that address (another town btw) who might have some potted tulips. Without hesitation Cheri gave me 2 references. There was no defensive attitude, just helpfulness. SO - I call the referrals Cheri gave me, and no cigar. No potted tulips. One shop was closed because their parking lot was being repaved and one did not have any potted tulips. I convinced the (89 year old mother and) sender that a lovely vase of tulips would be nice too, letter her know that potted tulips weren't available for same day delivery. Thank goodness she agreed - the day was getting shorter! So I called Cheri back to be sure I heard right, that they never deliver out that far. Que the trumpets: Cheri said they would deliver out that way with an extra charge. YAY! She then mentioned her co-worker was still at the wholesaler/grower, she had two colors of tulips right then but wanted to see what other colors she could get and would call me back in a few mins. Few min's later Cheri calls and viola' I'm placing the order for this (very special) same day delivery. The extra delivery charge, and Cheri's eventual suggestion to add some other flowers in the vase (hydrangea - for example) were perfect. All's well that ends well when a business's employee (or owner) initially greets the customer with pleasant good manners, truth and that extra mile helpfulness. I informed the sender that there would be some other pretty flowers included to give the tulips a pretty accompaniment and she was delighted - "Yes, tulips look lovely with complimentary blossoms..." At this point we don't have a picture of what was sent but after all the effort Cheri made, I feel completely confident! Not going out on a limb in assuming the environment at RG Creations is one of proper experience and good will effort in working with customers. As someone who grew around flower shops with a family member owning 2 for many decades, and then staying in the business as an adult myself, I am throughly impressed by the way Cheri worked with us. It's like we're old friends now (not kidding). Florist's provide something special for the most important times of our lives; birth; birthday's; anniversaries; illness; thanks; love; just to be nice; weddings, and death. The business is beautiful for its products AND for the relationships made between florist/designer and their customers. The old adages about sharing everything with hairdressers/barbers/bartenders applies to florists. They know our good times, fun times and our toughest times. They're there to help and serve. LOL - Real quick. Pro-tip. This delivery was in honor of a death. When the sender said she wanted a potted plant I suggested a vase. Nope she was set on a plant. So I suggested tulips. Sending a potted plant means a person has to water and care for it. That's hard to do when in the throws of grief. Best to send cut flowers for a death, unless you know (full well) the person has the time and know how to care for potted plants. A co-worker passed away and my company wanted to send flowers, but could not find a florist in the Fontana area which could make an arrangement and deliver it to the ceremony site overnight. Well thank goodness for yelp and the awesome reviews for Irma's Flowers & Gifts that I decided to reach out to them to see if they could accommodate my needs. Immediately, I was greeted with a wonderful women ready to help. She took down my information and reassure me that they could make a beautiful arrangement and deliver it before the service started. Well a course in the middle of pandemic, it is not business as usual and the service got cancel very last minute leaving the driver with floral spray and nowhere to deliver it. He immediately called me to tell me what happened and even after reaching out to the family several times, we could find anyone to accept the arrangement. The amazing part was that the driver was determined to deliver the arrangement and offer to hold the arrangement until Monday and make an attempt to deliver to the family's home. After many phone calls, text messages and stops by the family's home, he was finally able to deliver the arrangement. Now how businesses do you know would be so very patience, professional and most of caring to make sure this family could receive their floral arrangement?
