I really really wanted to like this place. It's the same owners as One Taco Two Taco. My daughters (ages 7 and 10) and I went at 5:30pm on Wednesday 2/20. There were 3 people at the bar and one person in a booth. I thought that was odd for being dinner time. My girls and I sat in a booth towards the back. Customer service was great, our waitress was very sweet. I ordered the buffalo chicken taco and a carne asada Taco with chips and salsa. My girls both got kids meals chicken fingers with chips and salsa, and a beef taco with chips and salsa. Kids meals are $6, which is pricey for a kids meal when they don't get much food. First off, the tacos are $3.49 each, but they're small. Similar to size of Taco Bell tacos. My buffalo chicken taco was so dry! The chicken was almost over cooked so it was very dried out. Then a small amount of buffalo taste, lettuce and a few pieces of blue cheese. No sauce on it, so that was even more drying. The carne asada Taco tastes nothing like carne asada. The meat was dry as well with very little flavor. The toppings on the carne asada Taco were very good though. Now the chips and salsa....the chips taste like they're cooked in very old oil. My kids and I didn't eat them. They were so gross. The salsa, which I expected to be homemade, I saw them pour out of a big container that you get at Sam's Club, maybe Pace salsa? The chicken fingers were great and a nice size. However, both my kids ate again after we left because they were not full. Like I said the tacos were small and chips were nasty. I told our waitress and she did remove $2 from the bill and she was nice. They get 2 stars for customer service, a live singer, and chicken fingers. As far as the 3 people at the bar, one woman was practically screaming when she was talking, with horrible language. I don't mind generally, but when I have children and they can hear it I'd expect them to lower their voice or the bartender to say something. We will NOT be returning. read more

This place is so dirty. Service is incredibly slow. I visited with a group about a week ago. The table was so stick and disgusting that I told my husband it would be a miracle if we didn't get sick from eating there. The drink menu on the table had seasonal favorites listed on it... nothing like pumpkin spice in June! read more

I have been there several times and always seem to order a cheeseburger with grilled onions and an order of onion rings. Food has always been A #1 and the staff very friendly. Lots of locals that seem to know one another. My only complaint is too few tables . Fat people don't fit in a booth very well. read more

We really loved this place when it first opened but it's gone down hill since. The staff isn't what it used to be. We were in for brunch on Sunday. The menu was being printed off a printer as we were being seated and had to wait for that. The waitress was very rude and didn't seam to care to much about customer service. We ordered the Italian Frittata and when we were served it looked like slop on a plate. The home fries were stone cold so we pretty much paid the bill and left. First visit today for Sunday brunch. Service was friendly and attentive. My wife ordered the special which was crabmeat stuffed salmon over grits. It was flavorful, and the grits were creamy. I ordered the brunch burger. It was a burger. Nothing special. I ordered medium, and it came the table medium-well. The over easy egg was cooked to far along as well. I would also suggest a thorough cleaning of the tables and salt and pepper shakers, etc. Not good enough for a second visit. read more

We visited on a Wed night and were disappointed. I had high hopes for a new restaurant in town but Lexington disappoints yet again. There were open tables and the service was painfully slow. There was a one man band playing and it was a nice touch but it still can't fix poor service and tasteless food. We got the queso and burgers. The queso tasted like the jar version from Walmart with a few scant pieces of ground beef and the chips were chewy. :( The burgers had no soul. When you call yourself a grill, own the title. It was overpriced anyway for the quality of offerings. If you are going to charge Charleston prices make sure you don't have a McDonald's quality offering. Great bar and grill. Best burger in Lexington. Friday night was prime rib and rib eye night. Tuesday taco night. The owner RF is awesome! I liked RF's Corner Grill. As I understand it, one of the owners from One Taco Two Taco has opened this restaurant. Please correct me if I'm wrong! This struck me as a mix between a sit down place combined with a sports bar. Different but nice. I liked the atmosphere but personally I care less about sports. The service was good but our food did not come out at the same time. This leads to one person having their food get cold while we wait, or going ahead and eating. Then they get to watch the other person finish. To me, it's better to always bring All of the food out at the same time. My wife got the TERI chic taco and was a little disappointed. Not as good as she expected but still Okay. I had the smoked wings and they were wonderful. One thing I would like is making celery with them? The menu doesn't mention that it comes with it so I cannot complain it's just a thought. Overall? We did have a great time. I tried duck fat fries for the first time and they were delicious ! I'm not sure what the fuss is about with this place. We went once and it was just okay. I got the chicken sandwich, which looked nothing like the pictures I have seen. It was your average fried chicken sandwich, nothing memorable. We got the chips and salsa as an app. and didn't care for it. You don't get much, that's for sure. We ate there Wednesday, 4/10/2019, we won't go back. The beer menu lacked any information on the different beers without the bartender looking it up on a cheat sheet. (I pulled up info faster on my phone.) Really, if you are going to brag about having a good draft beer selection, educate your bartenders. The beer was okay but we give the food mixed reviews. My friend ordered a shrimp taco with Duck Phat Fries. I ordered the 'mile high' burger, medium. I asked about substituting DPF for the regular fries but the bartender didn't even know if you could do that; and if so, what the up-charge would be. My friend said her shrimp taco was good, DPF's very good. Me, my burger came out DEAD! So it was this big glob of really dried out meat. I should have sent it back but I was hungry and did not want to wait again. Plus, we had already decided that this adventurer to RF's Corner Grill would be our last. My friend would probably give the place 2 stars but since I am writing this it got 1 star. I grew up in the restaurant business, you seriously can get better than this in Lexington, SC. Service was good and they had live music however the food was very marginal. The burger was dry and no flavor. The Bang Bang Shrimp was good, but presentation was very lacking. Was very crowded (band was there) 2 waitresses. Date Ordered shrimp rice bowl; I ordered Backyard burger & coffee. The bowl was hot but the food was cold - inedible.Hamburger bun was thicker than the filling & was COLD. Fries were limp and greasy. Had to ask for refills (run a waitress down). We'd been here once before and it was ok but we decided to try it again. We ordered the steak fries and a few tacos. Everything was very bland. The steak was chewy and bland. The tacos are nothing special and overpriced. To top off the mediocre experience our waitress virtually ignored me. It took her passing by us 4 or 5 times just to get our check. Ate dinner there at 1700 hrs on October 25th after we opted out of the other place we were considering. Kismet. Food was great. A pimento burger like I make them - great Guinness....terrific service. The food & service was exceptional! I ordered the RF's Bang Bang Shrimp as a appetizer and the portion size was unbelievable. The Baja fish and the Bangkok Shrimp Tacos were great, so great I ordered another Baja Fish. The craft beer selection was great, love the Steel Hand Coffee Lager! Everytime I go to Rfs corner grill, they take care of me. Food is creative and tasty. Customer service was very delightful. I can't complain about my meal tonight. The Mac and cheese burger is always my go to. Real lowkey spot. I would definitely recommend people to try this restaurant read more

This is my third time going to RF's. I keep hoping it would get better but it seems to get worse. We loved One Taco Two Taco but the food Is not the same. The salsa taste like 'Pace' from the grocery store (I really think it was......I saw them pouring from the container). I don't care for Pace and don't expect to be served this at a restaurant. The King Queso dip was bland and was barely warm, tonight. (It tasted like the cheese in a jar that is always on the same aisle as the chips, in grocery store......no taste). The tacos were bland. My fork and knife were dirty. I can brag on the service....they were exceptionally good tonight. I wish I could say the same for the food.....such a disappointment. Each time they never have the beer that they advertise, this time had to finally ask which beers do you actually have because didn't have 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th choice that's on the menu.
