After an extensive search I located Travis Helfman Construction and he came out to look. He and his crew were very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, on time and on budget. I am very happy with the overall quality of the work and would not hesitate to recommend Helfman Construction.

My husband and I went to his home for a consultation and he seemed nice enough, presented all he would do, so we decided to hire him and paid the deposit. This has been a slow process at which one point he went missing in action, he moved his residence and did not notify us nor the city as to where to contact him. After repeated calls (which his phone message is not set up to leave messages), and emails. I had to hunt him down through Instagram and contact his assistant. Do not use him. We had a project consisting of a simple detached 20 x 20 garage, along with converting our attached garage to a family room and bathroom. We have had the city out on inspections and two of them were not signed off because of his errors on the plans. If there were 10 stars i would have gone for a 10 star raring. I had an amazing and awesome…read moreexperience with Team All Star Construction - Larry and Geremy. I had the unfortunate experience of falling into a trap of a cheap quote to do my roof by fly by night operators from outside home depot. To my horror they ripped open my roof exposing my house to the bones, suddenly realized that my roof was way more complicated than they expected (with old wooden structure underneath the shingles) and they just took off and disappeared, of course along with my advance money too. I was all in a state of panic due to my open roof and frantically reached out to google to google roofers. Up came Team All Star - i made a call late evening and pleaded it was urgent. From there on that was the best call i have ever made in my life for an all purpose contractor. Larry returned my call almost instantaneously after reading the urgent message. I explained to Larry what had happened and since this was the fist time i was ever doing a roof was in a state of panic. Larry was calm and told me that from there on it was his problem and assured me nothing would happen to my house. From there on it was an amazing experience - Larry showed up first thing next morning and had already used satellite technology to map out my roof and had a quote ready all inclusive. He took time in explaining the process and timelines all the while assuring me that he would take care of the problem. From there, Larry's project manager Geremy took over and the work went as explained on the timelines explained and as assured my house was well taken care of. Geremy supervised the whole show - organized the demo team who were extremely courteous, professional and amazing. They demo'd my roof and then cleaned my place cleaner than it was even before they started taking care of all the trash left behind by the previous rogues. From there the material was delivered, crews showed up and completed the work in record time under a week. Since this was the first time i was doing a roof and with my house exposed, i was in a state of panic and texted Geremy and Larry many times. I was amazed at the courtesy, care and prompt response from both of them always re-assuring me and putting me at ease at every moment all the while understanding that i was a concerned home owner. They responded professionally to every text and ensured Geremy dropped over the next day to ensure all was on track. My roof is now complete in record time and it is an amazing job so well done that my neighbors have been commenting that the house looks like new. Team all star has won my confidence and any business i may ever have for life. I strongly recommend Larry and Geremy and you will not ever regret selecting them for your work. This is an amazing company with a very committed team that treats your interest and home value as their own.

They will do whatever it takes to get you to sign the contract. The work is subpar and just plain BAD in most aspects. I'm posting this to protect anyone researching making an investment in a remodel or rehab. This company DOES BAD work, they do not communicate well, and they will argue with everything. These pics are just a few examples of what we'll have to fix or pay other people to fix. Run!!! Find another company!!! Larry's response below is nonsense also. Nothing complex whatsoever, but for this company it must have been. Absolute nonsense and gaslighting like every other conversation with Larry. If he ever listened. Met him once and never saw him again. He just collects money and makes up excuses for shoddy work. For the record- they still have my house key - never returned it. They left many items undone and garbage for us to clean up after them as well.
