We felt every sub contractor Don utilized on our project from that painter through completion was clean, timely and fantastic. We did a small addition (closet, bathroom, laundry room) which required removing a dead tree, retaining walls, doors & windows, roofing, siding, insulation, plumbing electrical and tile work. We never had an issue passing inspection. Since Don lives on the mountain, he was helpful to us as newbies. He recommended product choices based on durability, etc. He offered remedies to the aging home's prior projects that weren't done safely or correctly. When we discovered that a gopher had loaded the existing bathroom wall with tons of dirt, he had a solution and expert to remedy the situation. As other issues arose in our aging home, he offered options without sales pressure as to what would serve us best in the long run, always making the final decision our choice. Safety and durability seem to be top priorities. We appreciated how he guided us through the process. The quality of his workmanship, the timely meetings and billing schedules all made for a relatively seam free small project, even when mountain living & mother nature created challenges.

Gilligan construction was recommended to us by our property manager. Brian came out to diagnose a…read morewater intrusion issue that another contractor either created or exacerbated when replacing our water main and then would not come out to fix their own work. He found the issue quickly and recommended some permanent fixes to keep the water from getting in under the foundation and into our build up and then lower level / storage closet after big rain storms or heavy snowfall. Brian was very communicative and transparent about the whole process. The pricing for the project was very reasonable. His crew retrenched the line, moved the stop and waste valve, installed a French drain, added a retention wall, and did several other things to thoroughly mitigate the water intrusion. They finally laid a cement pad in the front of the house to replace the original deck and to further keep water away from the foundation. Very pleased with the result and the timing in which they were able to complete the project. Daniel and the rest of the crew were very responsive, friendly, and were always available to answer any questions I had.
