I thought there was no way I would get anyone out on a holiday and freezing cold day. He made it out late In the afternoon and called me and told me me that he was not going to charge me because he thought maybe they could have caught the issue at our yearly check. He was so incredibly professional, and above and beyond helpful and kind. I went from starting the day feeling like we might have big issues on worst possible day, to having the most pleasant call confirming it was fixed at no charge and they appreciate our ongoing business. A truly great business and owner !

Than he sent Elizabeth his admin person to do his lying for him. They now demand i remove the entire ceiling and verify there is no mold or asbestos before they will return. We discussed the condition of the basement, specifically that there is soke mold and likely asbestos wrapped pipes. The morning he arrived to do the job he immediatelyadmitted he screwed up. He assured me he would do the work anyways as it was his mistake. Now he won't respond to messages sent directly to him, and Elisabeth is like dealing with a child who will not admit they are wrong. Despite the very good reviews, it has been a nightmare trying to get this company to follow through with what they said they would do. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for your work.

This past Monday he installed a new Honeywell T10 Lyric thermostat. He tied this in to my existing bypass humidifier to automatically control it to minimize window sweating in the summer. The new controls required a new wire to tie the thermostat to the humidifier. Tom efficiently ran the wire from the main floor to the basement. The T10 can also control via remote sensors to assure adequate heating and cooling. I am very happy with the thermostat, and how the system operates!

Called Monday morning when the office opened and was greeted by a friendly person who took my name and address and information about the problem we were having. She had an opening in a hour or was willing to work around my schedule - an hour was great for me. She also explained payment was expected when the service was completed - I appreciate knowing that ahead of time so I could find our check book that we rarely use anymore. The technician arrived on time and was friendly and neat. Introduced himself and asked some follow up questions to begin work. He had a good idea where to start and began working on the condenser outside. Ten minutes in he found the problem part and had a replacement part in his truck. He also noted the the fins were dirty and cleaned them as well. Once the repair was finished he stopped inside and checked the thermostat and fired up the AC. In a few minutes it was blowing cold air. I feel this company has a reputation for honest work and good technicians. They came recommended by family. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

I asked him a few questions I had about the furnace and he told me everything I needed to know regarding the age of it and what overall condition it was in. He really took his time and he has us as a customer for all our HVAC needs in the future. I already told him to schedule us for the Air Conditioning servicing. Plus he installed a new thermostat too!

Olson shows up and went through a very thorough diagnostic process to determine why my furnace doesn't want to furnace any longer. Turns out the control board was bad. Normally not the end of the world, these things happen. What became the real issue is that my furnace was old and getting a control board was going to be a problem. What my malingering furnace didn't realize is that Olson was on it! He apparently had a board that was an exact match that came from a tear out that had preformed the previous week. He set us up on emergency heat until the next day, when he showed up to install the replacement. Now he could have told me that I was just "duct" and that I would need a new furnace $$$$$. But that's now how they conduct themselves. Fast forward ten years. My AC stops working. Of course during a brutal Wisconsin summer. You know the ones where when you wake up the windows are completely covered in condensation, like it's raining. One call, that's all it took. Olson is in the job. Replaced my aging AC system with a great unit that was priced right. Needless to say we be chilling. I really cannot emphasize how thoughtful, thorough, and professional the work was completed. And it was on time and under budget. That you Olson for such great service throughout the years!

We have an infant and a cold snap was heading in, so I looked up community recommendations and everyone said to call Mike at Olson. I called and left a message explaining the issue. He called me back right away and said he could come take a look at the end of his day, that same day! He came and analyzed our furnace, and everything that was wrong with it. He was very honest and helpful, which I appreciate. Not a hard salesman, just trying to help our family make the best choice for us financially. Basically, we needed a new furnace. He couldn't get us in until a few days later(we were just surprised he had furnaces on hand!), so he reset the furnace to get us by until then. He installed the furnace in just a few hours, and it was working like a pro! But just a few days later, we noticed our room upstairs wasn't getting any hot air from the vent (our house is old and doesn't have enough vents as it is), so we called Mike. He came over that same day again and looked it all over. Turns out it was a simple fix and the heat started coming through the vents again. But that just shows you the attention he gives to each customer. We will definitely work with Mike on all heating issues going forward, whether it's this house, or the next.
