The current director is aware of a teacher putting their hands on two children and that teacher has had no consequences. She has a "30-day suspension" where she is still allowed to work around kids, including the two she put her hands on. I would not recommend working here nor bringing your kids here. I keep in contact with parents and they repletely tell me what the administrative staff tells them, how rudely they talk to them and how little they make the parents feel. One time I had one of my kids choke on a piece of food and I had to do the Heimlich maneuver on said kid. Thankfully it came out and the kid is ok, but they did not inform the parents of what happened to their own child. So said child went home and said she choked on a piece of food, the mother texted me that night furiously asking me what happened. When I explained the situation and told her I told the administrative staff, she was even more furious. They failed to contact the mother, which resulted in me having to calm her down. Another time I had one of my kids hit his head hard, to the point where he was bleeding and had to go get surgical glue for the cut. I called on the walkie in tears saying I needed help, and no one came. It took another teacher to tell them to come to my room. The front obviously had favorites, but they are so petty to the point where they would ignore a bleeding child simply because they did not like me. All the front desk did was ignore us and talk bad about the parents. So bad to the point where a parent left in tears and withdrew her kid, I still keep in touch, and she was so happy for me when I told her I was not at chrysalis anymore. They will talk bad about you and your child; I have heard it with every single kid who walks in that door. Chrysalis never ever had one good thing to say about me. I was there for almost two years and on my last day my boss told me the following "None of the parents or kids liked me. I am not fit to be a teacher; I was a bad teacher, and I should have been gone a long time ago." The office staff is very petty and very messy, after my time at chrysalis I had staff tell me "So and so said this about you" one month after I was gone. The front desk women are very messy and very unprofessional. They made the work environment so unbearable and toxic. The teachers there were overworked, tired, crying, and the front and director did nothing to help. She gave us a chocolate bar and that was it. I loved my kids, to this day I babysit and keep in contact with them. It was never the kids. They were the best kids to me. The main problem was the front desk, the director and the way they ran things. I have more and more stories about chrysalis, but it keeps me up at night feeling so bad the teachers who are good teachers there. PLEASE DO NOT WORK OR BRING YOUR KIDS TO THIS SCHOOL. I made a huge mistake counting on Fusion to help my family - my teenager missed 3 months of her well respected school second to illness and withdrew for the semester and went to Fusion desperate to learn and catch up. We realized early on that Fusion was not a good fit - teaching quality was, at times, dismal with poor accountability of advancing curriculum/challenging my teenager. Our sincere efforts to engage the individual teachers, administrations were numerous from the begining - encompassing easily 40 emails. Despite raising concerns repeatedly with teachers and administrators, we felt our concerns were dismissed or not meaningfully addressed. Per my teenager AND while overhearing an online class, the teaching was maybe15 minutes per 60 minute class and then teacher would make AI generated work for the student to do on own. You pay approximately $135/hr. I am so sorry to say this, but my teenager often felt some teachers were unable to answer questions in sufficient depth or explain the AI-generated assignments they provided. My teenager said it was a waste of her time --- the excruciating fact is that my teenager really wanted to catch up on missed school because of a long illness. She spent February to June, 2026, at Fusion & made little progress except for what she taught herself out of desperation (one good thing she learned to teach herself). The credits earned, we have decided, will not to ever appear on her transcript; for us, it does not represrent quality education. Forget the 16-17k, the tremendous family stress related to Fusion not delivering; it was my teenager that was affected most and I cannot stop apologizing to her for choosing Fusion.

Students are respectful, well- mannered, and kind to other peers, no sign of bullying, which is great and rare to see nowadays. It's very easy to make friends here as long as you try talking with others! They will all approach you, too! The program offered here is also highly rewarding and amazing and am so thankful for it. Each student has the opportunity to earn as high as an Associates Degree in this school! You are practically a college student, with a college email with LoneStar, do assignments, pick your classes and schedule, and get many privileges here! Of course it can be challenging, but as long as you do all your work and study on time, you can get great grades, have nice friends, and enjoy all your free time stress free!!! All the High School work is online, therefore it is recommended to bring your own personal laptop, but they also let you use the school laptops which are pretty good too for free! All your college tuition, and textbooks, etc is free too! We use to not have ANYTHING athletically related, but our school is soon starting a soccer team this year and other sports! You have much freedom and advantages in this school, so as long as you behave good and do your best, it will be easy and rewarding at the end! Sadly, there is no transportation or lunch provided, but there are microwaves and vending machines! The only thing I wish they could fix is having more school spirit! I wish we could do things together as a whole school at least on Fridays! Also, I wish we could have more clubs to help in certain careered like maybe a medicine/ health club, LAW club, teaching, technology, ART, journalism, etc. to help people find ways to find a career they are interested in if still indecisive.... The owner, Cynthia, even admitted to me over the phone that she doesn't want certain employees working there but "has no choice" because she can't find anyone better. Hearing the owner speak that way about her own staff says everything you need to know about how this place is run. One of the first issues we had was with a teacher named Amber. She allowed my son to call her "mom" multiple times and never corrected him until I personally walked in and heard it happening myself. On top of that, she would message me on Facebook outside of daycare hours saying how much she missed my son, which I found extremely inappropriate and unsettling. Eventually my son was moved to another classroom with Caitlyn, and things did not improve. She constantly seemed distracted and unable to properly supervise the children. It's shocking to me that someone who struggles this much with basic supervision is trusted to watch toddlers. The reason I am writing this review is because of the incident that made us immediately pull our child from this daycare. On Friday, March 6th, my two-year-old son broke his arm while at daycare. No one told me. Not a phone call, not a message, nothing. I only realized something was wrong later that night and into the next day when he continued favoring his arm. I had to reach out to the daycare myself the following day to ask if anything had happened. Once I asked, the stories started changing. First I was told he "fell on the concrete." Then the story changed to him falling off the slide. Then the teacher said she actually wasn't sure what happened. How does a two-year-old break his arm in two places at daycare and no one knows what happened? We took him to the emergency room and confirmed that his arm was indeed broken in two spots. The fact that no one noticed, no one reported it, and no one could give a clear answer about how it happened shows a shocking level of negligence. This daycare is also extremely dirty and poorly managed. It feels like the only thing they care about is collecting tuition checks, not the safety or well-being of the children in their care. After everything that happened, we immediately unenrolled our child. No parent should have to worry that their toddler could suffer a serious injury and the daycare staff either doesn't notice or doesn't bother to tell them.

A school trip, a class play and a research project to top it off in the kinder class! The kids get to really experience education, socialization and learn manners in a structured environment. Initially, I was not in favor of public school and put my daughter in a charter school for kindergarten. There, I learned that smaller classes don't mean a better education. After a rough start there, I did a little more work on finding the positive attributes of public school. Cy-Fair really changed my outlook. While the elementary schools hover at around 1000 students each, I've learned that the teachers and staff can make that seem less overwhelming. Plus, an active PTO throughout makes up in the areas where the school needs help. My daughter is entering her third year at public school and loves it. I am so pleased Cy-Fair proved to me that public school is still a viable option even in a huge metropolitan area.
