They have a LOT of learning activities even in the short 9-1 day, plus playground time, lunch, and free play. He always wants to show me what he did that day before we even get to the car. His teacher is utterly fantastic and so professional with parents and fun with the kids. We are always greeted by more than one staffer on our way in and out of the building, usually referring to my son by name. The parental involvement and special activity days also make this school great!

Nice fancy new-looking school, lots of good teachers, smart kids, there are issues of course as there are at every school, but when we've been on campus or dealt with them in any regard, they've treated us well. Failure as people who work in education system, a 10 years old child have been running them like her slaves , teachers are crying that AP or the Principle itself don't do anything, for the last 2 years they had me leave message and never called back, today I managed to talk to front desk 4 times within 30 minutes and they failed to even get anywhere with me, They told my wife if she don't leave the call CFISD police, so I begged them to do so when I'm going there, but now that I think about it, these people in this location don't even worth of a time of any parents or students for that matter, failure to be not only professionals but simple workers in their line of duty I'm disappointed to see workers like that failing miserably our Children and the Education system... Initially, I was not in favor of public school and put my daughter in a charter school for kindergarten. There, I learned that smaller classes don't mean a better education. After a rough start there, I did a little more work on finding the positive attributes of public school. Cy-Fair really changed my outlook. While the elementary schools hover at around 1000 students each, I've learned that the teachers and staff can make that seem less overwhelming. Plus, an active PTO throughout makes up in the areas where the school needs help. My daughter is entering her third year at public school and loves it. I am so pleased Cy-Fair proved to me that public school is still a viable option even in a huge metropolitan area.
