Their campus has a charm that the other newer campuses just can't replicate. I love the down-to-earth nature of the staff and students. It's a fantastic school.

The principal, Mrs. Bonjorni is a bully and displays favoritism on how she treats some children. This can be verified by other parents. The children's tablets were not protected from access to inappropriate websites. A boy in my son's class told him about a website and then said don't look it up and out of curiosity he did anyway. I couldn't have been prepared that at a Christian school my son and all the 3rd graders in his class would have unsupervised access to adult websites and than the heartbreak and hard conversations I had to have with my 3rd grader. He was exposed to an inappropriate website at a Christian school with the schools tablets. During Friday freetime he was with a group of boys who also seen the website. One of the kids told his dad who told my son about it and they confirmed the name of the boy who had told him about the website, but parents were never notified of that. As a result some parents assumed his knowledge of the website came from home, which it did not. It was verified by a witness whose dad told the principal about the young boy who told my son about it. Soon after My daughter began to be mistreated by the principal with rude comments. The day before the last day of school Principal Mrs. Bonjorni yelled at my daughter for wearing jeans instead of swim clothes on water day. A teacher let me know about the situation so I went to the school to pick up my kids. I confronted Mrs Bonjorni and that very same day she fired the teacher out of pure evil and retaliation. There is no accountability here, especially since the owner of the school is the principal Mrs. Bonjorni. The port-a potty restrooms were unsanitary. The walls would be smeared with poo and very hot and at times had no toilet

I've been volunteering here for three years, and their front desk staff and volunteers have always been fantastic. They are efficient and friendly, and are very cognizant of student safety. The grounds are clean (ok, not during lunch; but those kids literally just drop stuff), and there is a great sense of school pride and school spirit. I've always felt welcome on campus.

I haven't been back to campus for many years but my brother and I were fortunate to go here when…read morethe school was new in the 1960's and '70's where we made lifelong friends. The teachers were lovely and the education was great but having established lifelong friendships is one of the greatest blessings that you can give your children. The education system is designed to send kids to college and grad school if interested. You can literally go from kindergarten through med school building life-long connections and friends. I remember as a child when the developer Del Webb made a large donation for the purchase of the 40 acre campus. Many happy memories among my current Facebook friends from our formative years on spent on campus.

They took care of my paperwork and were clear about the safety guidelines, etc. It's a beautiful campus with great spirit. I love the lunch area with its amphitheater and plentiful trees!

Absolutely terrific small Catholic elementary and middle school…read more My nephew lives with me four months out of the year, and when he's here I enroll him in OLPH. English isn't his first language, and I don't want him in an enormous middle school where, because he's a newcomer and a "temporary" student, he'd probably be overlooked academically and socially. That, and I don't want him lose a week's worth of education to endure the battery of state- and federally-mandated tests that mean nothing to him and to me. The staff of OLPH are wonderful, from the principal to the teachers to the office staff. Enrolling him is a snap. The principal greets us by name on the first day. (How she remembers our names from year to year I'll never know.) Teachers are accommodating and easy to get hold of as a parent/guardian; moreover, they work with him before school and after school when he first arrives to bring him up to speed academically (he's enrolled from March-June). And because classes are really small, he also gets lots of individual attention during class time. My nephew spends time with me in California primarily to improve his English, and even though OLPH doesn't have a special curriculum for language-minority students - he's just one of two or three English as a Second Language kids in the whole school - I see a tremendous improvement in his English speaking, reading, and writing every year, and I'm sure that's due in large part to the individual attention and friendly atmosphere he experiences at OLPH. I'm also impressed with the discipline I see on campus and in classrooms. There are no children running amok; I've never seen a classroom where the teacher wasn't in 100% control of the situation; and the kids are polite to every adult they encounter. I've never been on a public middle school campus where kids will routinely smile and greet adults they don't know, and I've been in hundreds of public middle schools in my life. The folks at OLPH do a fantastic job. As a parent/guardian, I couldn't ask for better.

I've been part of this parish community for decades and have grown increasingly saddened and…read moretroubled by the direction of the school and church under current Priest Michael. The priest has brought an extreme conservative ideology to this role that is completely out of character with the tone and values this church has always represented -- none of his predecessors led this way. Policies have changed in ways that feel exclusionary and fear-based, and when families have raised concerns, they haven't been heard. The community that made this church and school special is being eroded. I'd encourage anyone considering this school to ask leadership directly about their policies on family inclusion before enrolling. And I'd encourage longtime parishioners to ask the same questions of the priest and the diocese. The answers may surprise you.

How the fuck do u walk away from that. We have the video and you can hear the boys who jump him say "KILL HIM" I am outrage of how in the video no teachers came to help or interject.
