So I was referred to this place via my caseworker at local agency…read more I called and spoke with some lady, no name given, and told her about the referral and got no response, so I asked if she understood what I meant and she coldly told me "we're not allowed to talk about what organizations they work with". I thought it was a little weird but approved them moving my prescriptions from another pharmacy. Weeks went by with no courtesy call to let me know if everything was moved over and ok. So I called asking about getting an important prescription refilled and was told that I couldn't because my insurance was canceled. I explained that I get this one covered by a state program and that it's supposed to be free. I felt like I was talking to a wall. I told her that I just wasn't feeling comfortable with the way things were going and asked to have everything sent back to the original pharmacy. She said that she couldn't do it and I needed to have them contact her. Called the original one immediately and explained the situation and was relieved that they would get everything back and that I could get my refill as soon as possible. I'm really disappointed that this didn't work out especially because of the glowing review and referral my caseworker gave.

This is THE best pharmacy I've ever encountered…read more After a nightmare of an experience at my previous pharmacy, involving the coldest, rudest, most unprofessional, unethical treatment over a change in my insurance plan; I found myself in tears at the TLC counter explaining my situation. I was expecting to be turned away and treated like garbage, as I was at the 5 other pharmacies I'd been to earlier that day (mostly big chains). To my surprise, the staff and pharmacist were SO kind and compassionate ! I was a wreck and they were so comforting. They instantly, without hesitation, told me not to worry about a thing. They gave me tissue to dry my eyes, my son a bag of Cheese Puffs and made me a profile instantly. I called all my family's Doctor's and had all of our prescriptions transferred to TLC. I can't thank the staff Sarah, the sweet, young blonde man (forgive me; his name is escaping me), the Pharmacist D.C. and all the other staff for their kindness, compassion and professionalism. It's so refreshing and rare to find a pharmacy with a staff as wonderful, transparent and honest as the one at TLC! My only regret is not finding them sooner. Truly good-hearted people ! I highly recommend this pharmacy. Thank you!

They don't carry the two prescriptions that I need so when I was telling the owner, why are you so concerned about my other medication's? He's like because I can ask questions and also why are you getting from two pharmacies? I personally number one nobody carries these two medicines that I need except you guys and the second thing is no disrespect. It's none of nobody's where I get my medicine from. All I need is my medicine so I can feel better so he told me to hold my horses and told with the medication that you have at these other pharmacy why don't you get it from there? I told they don't carry them and they don't order them. You guys are the only ones been coming there for three years and now you're giving me trouble about medicine that I really need. And he was like you're too much medicine. I told him that's none of your business and he told me listen. I am the owner and I fill your prescriptions for you. I said you are talking about my medication's other medication's in front different people that I don't know who's in the store and that's against my and he told me no it's not. I am the owner and I know what the law is. I told OK whatever you say can you give my medication? He's like no I am not gonna fill your prescription. Go find it somewhere else to be honest he was racist. He because of my first and last name and I bet 99.999% it's because of what's going on on the other side of the world and I'm assuming he's taking his hate on somebody that needs his medicine. Listen I'm a type of person if somebody tells me hey we're out of stock for this month. Can you go look for somewhere else? I will more than gladly to go do that because it took me 10 different pharmacies until I found Apollo pharmacy in Wyandotte and they had no problems filling my prescriptions for three years and they did not ask are you taking these other and why are you getting them from another pharmacy? He's just being greedy because I didn't give all my medicine to him so he can make the money. It seems like he's hurting for money or he needs more money or he's racially profiling me because of who I am and I think that's the reason why and if you go look on people are giving him bad reviews as well too because they don't fill prescriptions or ask them about what other medicines they have and why they medicines and it's none of their these are none opioid prescriptions and also I don't take any opioids as well for him to name all my medicines in front of the crowd of his workers and customers was a violation of my HPAA law he said my name he said my date of birth he said my address and you know what I feel violated and disrespectful by this gentleman he should not own this place. He should be looked at sorry for the long real message, but thank you everybody please I hope I'm not the only one that gets treated like this.
