I'd give zero stars if i could, where to begin…read more.. 1. There's no direct line, so you have to call the 1-800 number and wait on hold for 10-15 minutes just to be redirected to the "lab/clinic" you need. 2. I called 10 times, waiting on hold 10-15 minutes each time just to get a voice mail that says "if you cancelling an appointment, leave your name and appointment time, no voicemail messages will be responded to". So i can't leave a message and get a call back??? who does crap like this. So then i have to hangup and try again later. 3. So after 10 failed call attempts i end up just driving the 20 minutes to the lab, to be told that i can't make an appointment in person i have to call the phone number to make it. So i explain to the lady that i'm only here because nobody answers the phone. So she dials the number for me, and i get the same voicemail again. She also said that the lab is moving to Toronto so they might not be taking new appointments. How disorganized is this place?? She said i'd have to wait a few minutes until she has time to go to the back and talk to the actual lab people who answer that phone (the people at the front apparently don't do that). Ten minutes later she gets through and i'm able to make my appointment for anytime i want it (apparently they aren't really that busy) 4. So i went back for my appointment and luckily i asked for the code to get the results online, because apparently they don't print off the code unless you ask. (really?) 5. Now i'm trying to get my results online, but I have to create an account (i can't just enter the unique code they gave me) so i created my account but i can't confirm my registration because they haven't mailed me the confirmation link yet (it's been 5+ hours) 6. So i emailed customer service and they responded the next day and said they have no record that i created an account (that's not reassuring). So i creates it again and this time it worked and i could get my results. This process was an exercise in frustration. I'll be looking for a more customer friendly lab in the future.

It's also closer to the Buffalo Airport which is our final destination. Once we got to the gate area, after sitting in a line of cars for 20 minutes, we needed our passports! We dug them out of our carryon and answered a litany of questions: where are we going? Final destination? Any liquor, tobacco or firearms? No to all of that last question. Nothing about what we bought or how much we spent. And then we were on our way. Five days ago we entered Canada by driving over the Peace Bridge. It was quick moving through the gate after sitting in a line of cars for twenty minutes. We only needed our drivers' licenses. And questions were similar.

Keep in mind that the legal drinking age in Canada is 19 so you're going to encounter a number of under 21 Americans who are interested in getting their drink on. So watch yourself and look out for drunk drivers! There are a few options for crossing the border - the Rainbow Bridge is the most popular and will have the longest queue. https://www.ezbordercrossing.com/list-of-border-crossings/new-york/ and consider the Peace Bridge or the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge. If you have a NEXUS card, you can use the Whirlpool Bridge. For the RVers looking for cheap overnight parking, I suggest trying the Walmart a bit further west in Welland. We cruised up to the border like, "Hey Canada, you up?" and they hit us with the chillest energy ever. Officer asked the usual questions, but with that classic polite Canadian tone that somehow makes you feel both safe and slightly underprepared for life. The whole process was smoother than maple syrup on a warm stack of pancakes. Zero drama. Zero attitude. Just friendly vibes and a "Welcome to Canada" that felt like a warm hug in border-control form. 10/10 would cross again. Canada: elite. Niagara Falls: still wet. Our trip: certified banger.
