They did an EXCELLENT job with the trophy plate I ordered, it turned out exactly as I requested. I did an aluminum plate with a color sublimation of a picture alongside some centered text. Customer service was also top notch. I made a mistake in my order so I emailed them and they were able to straighten out with a few emailed back & forth to make sure they were making it exactly as I envisioned. I reached out to this company for the first time last week. It was a very unusual request, and I was met immediacy and compassion. Our Little League was scheduled to face a team from Escondido which had suddenly lost one of their players days prior in a tragic accident. It was going to be the first game for them since the unfortunate tragedy. Our board quickly gathered and decided we would get a wood bat and have it engraved with the player's name and #. I exchanged emails with Katie, the owner, and she was terrific. I brought her a bat and she engraved it and had it ready on very short notice. Clearly, she was moved by the situation, and stepped up to add some light to a grieving family's darkest moment. Without even asking, she didn't even charge us. During the game there was a pre-game ceremony where the player and his family were honored, and we were able to hand the bat to them. I am beyond thrilled!! We didn't know if the laser would work with the thin 2x4 wood but they said if it didn't work that we could then cover it with a small engraved metal plaque. I was extremely disappointed in the service I received....or rather the lack of service. I wanted to have my husbands Navy plaque engraved. She said she could attach an engraved plate. At first I asked a few questions about her opinion about the color and placement. Understandably she said she wanted to do what I wanted not what she wanted. (At this point she was quite snippy. But I just pretended I didn't notice and just went on with it. .) Then I asked professional questions; how big is this particular font. That's when she got intensely nasty. "I don't know, every font is different" ( I wanted to match the size of the words all ready on the plaque. ) There were several similar technical questions which I needed expert advice. She snarled that she couldn't answer. At one point she said, "you are not worth this $10 sale. I don't have the time for you." She sure did take a chance saying that to me. For all she knows, I manage the middle school basket ball teams and will need many plagues in the future. Heck ! I'll leave the whole incident to Karma! read more
