Ordered a plaque for my husband's retirement from the Marine Corps. I went in 4-5 weeks before I…read moreneeded it and was asked when the event was. And then said it would be ready the day before. It should have only taken 2 weeks to be made. So I feel like I should have been able to pick it up as soon as it was ready vs being made to wait the maximum time before it was actually needed. Upon the day of pick up it wasn't ready due to some issue with the engraved plate having to be redone. So I had to wait a little bit longer to pick it up. Upon picking it up I felt the wood used had a lot of scratches in it but it was painted over. I asked about it and the guy said that it was just inconsistencies in the wood. Which I get, but then, isn't that what sanding is for? It just seemed like there could be steps to improve quality here. The staff is cold. I agree with other reviews on this. Did I overall feel like it was worth the money? I had a specific idea in mind and only they provided what I wanted. So I did feel it was worth the money. Could service improve? Yes. Definitely. My husband was happy (because he wasn't expecting it) so l guess that's all that really matters here.

Either that was an oversight or subliminal messaging, but I followed their recommendation. Ha ha ha!! This is veteran owned/operated, small business that I am more than happy to support. It's in a commercial area adjacent to the new Super Star Car Wash on the 76. I wasn't in a hurry for my engraving by any means, but if I was, I suspect they'd do their best to accommodate a time frame. (Albeit, probably at a cost--and I'd happily pay if in a time constraint.) I'm taking another project in soon. I have a plaque that I want to recreate with a name change, and they said they can do it! How exciting! (They found my unit badge online and are toying around with it to make it work! Super stoked.) SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!!!
