Here you go: Subject: Request for Refund Due to Incomplete and Misrepresented Vehicle Repair I am writing regarding the repair performed on my daughter's vehicle on [date], for which I paid $348.85. The vehicle was returned to us with the same issue it was brought in for. Within a day, the condition worsened, including white smoke from the engine. When the vehicle was brought back, we were informed that the head gasket had blown and that this type of repair is not something your shop handles. Additionally, your employee stated that when the vehicle was moved after the repair, it was apparent that something was still wrong, yet this was not disclosed to me at the time of payment. Based on this, I am requesting a full refund of $348.85 due to: - Failure to properly diagnose or repair the issue - Return of the vehicle in an unsafe or worsened condition - Failure to disclose known issues at the time of release Please respond within 7 business days to resolve this matter. If I do not receive a response, I will proceed with filing formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the State Attorney General's office, and I will consider pursuing this matter in small claims court. Thank you again for keeping me safe on the road Ray's. I wouldn't dream of visiting any other…read moremechanic and glad you're just an hour away. I'll tow it to ya if I have to! With the service engine light on recently and knowing that after auto zone's no return of problems and Googl-ing it returned that as long as it wasn't blinking...that's all I cared about in order to drive it to you to figure it out. As mentioned, and you sold me with your trust as a female when one of your mechanics said after half a year had gone by way back when I first bought this car and I assumed surely it needed an oil change even though the mileage wasn't up yet. You guys checked everything and said I really didn't need it but when I was back in town the next month to get it done then. That's customer service. Even yesterday, he hook up to figure out what was really wrong with my car was explained and why the $35 charge for you guys to do it checks things that Autozone does not. Then like magic all the exclamation marks were shown to me. It's just a huge relief to have Ray's in my phone & on Yelp for standby in case phone kicks it.

Not only have…read moreI been told my car would be fixed by a certain date (which has gone and passed by at least a week), I have been treated like a second rate citizen by a certain person. The mechanics have been great, but I feel as if customer service has been thrown out the window. I should have been called and kept up to date on the progress of getting parts, and now getting the work done. I have complained to several people--names I will not share, but nothing has changed. I really like the mechanics here. They do great work and are fairly quick about it too. I just wish they were quick about work they have already started, but as of yet not finished.
