It's incredible to think of the number of cars they've serviced and just the amount of life shared and experienced among these incredible people, their family and with their mechanics as well! I initially brought my car to them on a Friday leading into a holiday weekend, as they were all excited about the upcoming holiday and anxiously looking forward to their respective plans! Later on, I brought a printout of a 75,000 mile service that I had gotten from Toyota, which according to the dealership was a $750 service. I wanted to ask them about it and see what they would charge. When I got my vehicle back, it was a little over $200. After I inquired about such a difference in price, they told me that my car didn't need all of that service done, and they only did what was needed. A place that didn't do unnecessary work, that didn't try to sell you additional services, and where the work was done reasonably, yes indeed! And I've never looked back! I love this place! And I'm so thankful to have known them for almost 25 years and counting! God-willing, here's to 25 more!

My wife's car was checked in by Gary who professionally gathered the problem details Friday morning. The shop called that afternoon with diagnosis and upfront pricing. Later they discovered a motor mount that should be replaced and again called offering options. Later I met the owner, Warran who offered to release the car after shop was closed, to pick up the car , and he is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable, offering advice for future maintenance without "selling". Very bad experience. Did not fully, properly or competently repair an initial problem which caused…read morea failure of the "repair" 3 months later. Returned to have the issue re-addressed; he ignored the major symptom (actual noise coming from the actual part) that we pointed out during discussion which was the same part as initial problem). He instead quoted thousands to replace items (that careful investigation would have shown) had nothing to do with the issue. To make matters worse, the quote had the potential to double, and it would have, because the things he proposed to replace were 100% not the issue. His incompetency would have cost upwards of 8K in the long run bc the repair plan was absolutely WRONG. We went elsewhere for the repair. When we returned to his shop to discuss the failure and findings from CORRECT repair; he was very unprofessional before conversation even started. He walked up saying he was "...already in a bad mood..." before conversation even began. Ultimately, he refunded (only) a portion of the costly repair and told us never to come back! As if we would. Which, ironically, is 100% confirmation that this guy lacks critical thinking skills when it matters most. Because after all the wasted money and additional expense-why would we.

The next day while traveling she had a blowout on the drivers side front tire near Livingston, AL on I59. She did not run over anything, it was just a defective tire. The van was towed to a tire store in Livingston that inspected the tire and determined it was defective. They replaced it with different brand, (Toyo). I called Bayou Motors the next day and explained what happened. They said my wife must have hit something and they were not responsible. I will never patronize this business again.

The mechanic said "well, the engine light does not come on so maybe you need to use a higher grade of gasoline." So, I go to Polk's and fill up on their most expensive grade the had and spent close to $50 filling up because I was going to Mobile to my sons for the 4th of July. (4th issue) When I got to Mobile, and got out of the car, my grandson was at the door to greet me and he said "NANNY, there 's smoke billowing out from under the hood of your car." It scared the heck out of us both and when I let it cool off, it would not crank. My grandson had to bring me back to Long Beach because I had appointments the next day. Because the car wouldn't start, Chuck Ryan had to go get the car in Mobile and bring it back to Long Beach. I didn't hear from them yesterday after they got the car and so far today (June 7th) I haven't heard from them as to what they are going to do about the car By the way, I told them I didn't want the car and could I have a refund. I paid $2000 down and made one $450 payment. One of the managers named Kelly said they didn't give refunds, but they own the company, so I would think they could if they wanted to. I'm waiting for them to make a decision and call me back
