**BEWARE - ESPECIALLY IF MILITARY** I specifically dealt with Corey and John. Both are extremely quick to become defensive and disrespectful when advocating for your property during an insurance repair.
I was rear-ended a week before I was scheduled to ship my car to Germany for an overseas PCS. Due to this, the decision was made to repair it and then sell it. This was relayed to Corey who said he would have the vehicle done in time for me to sell it before my PCS. The fact that he did not live up to this promise is not the source of this negative review. However, due to the fact that I had to leave before the vehicle was finished, my sons dad retrieved the vehicle upon "completion." I informed Corey that someone else would be picking it up and I requested that he send me photos of my car before it left the shop. He said this wouldn't be a problem.
For reference I have a 2017 Toyota 4Runner TRD off road premium.
I never received a single picture from
Corey.
1. They replaced the rear bumper valance with the wrong color. My vehicle had black installed. The front bumper valance was black, yet they failed to note this and replaced it with a silver one. See photos below. When I noticed this, I called Corey and told him about the discrepancy. He instantly became defensive and said "Whatever. Bring it back and we'll repaint it." I informed him it wasn't a paint job, but rather a part that would need to be ordered because it was dye injected plastic. He replied "Okay Miss Know-It-All, I guess you know more about my job than I do." At this point, I was beyond disgusted. Knowing he would never speak to a man advocating for a complete repair like this, I asked to speak to whoever was in charge. This is when I got John. He was initially very accommodating. He asked that we being the car back, and said he would call local vendors for the part to expedite the swap
2. On the claim quote I received from the adjuster, "full lift gate replacement" was noted. I had interior damage to this lift gate because I was hauling an appliance dolly at the time I was rear ended. Again - see photo below. You can see the other vehicles involved through rear window. When my sons dad originally went to get the vehicle, this interior was repaired, and the lift gate window functioned appropriately. After he went to get the vehicle after the valance swap, the damaged panel was put back on the new lift gate and the rear window no longer functioned. John told my sons dad that they weren't paid to repair this panel, and denied ever fixing it in the first place. I also spoke with John, and when I asked him to explain to me why they would remove a damaged interior panel from a damaged external lift gate and then place it on a brand new lift gate, he interjected stating "I've been nice and have done all I can for you." He told me that the interior speaker looked "burned" and assumed it wasn't part of the accident. He immediately got defensive and handed the phone back to my sons dad.
This business is NOT BBB accredited. They will NOT pay attention to fine details. They will NOT appreciate your business. They will NOT listen to or respectfully address your concerns. They WILL however accept your insurances checks and they WILL disrespect you when you advocate for a complete repair. Please do yourself a favor and choose a different collision repair shop.
